I guess that what Beta testing is for but the grading for the Depaul v Uconn matchup has been done wrongly.

I am showing as having a negative account balance whereas I should have made a small profit. It looks like the "risk" amount for all of my individual bets (on both sides) has been deducted.

Yes you are correct. The game was initially graded incorrectly.

Human error (on my part) ... I foolishly ran my grading program three times and then to make matters worse tried to fix it all by hand. Mistake.

Anyway, everything should be OK now. My apologies for the inconvenience and a big thanks to all the players who pointed out the error over live chat.

Yep. That is intended behavior. Shortly prior to game time all offers on markets tied to that game are canceled, and then the market is immediately reopened for in-game trading.

I suppose I should probably add some sort of visual cue to signify in-running games. Any icon suggestions?

Another suggestion...You have to put dates next to the games. Especially for us Americans who bet Soccer. Sometimes I don't know if a game is tonight or the next night or 3 days from now. Very important.

Really need to have a summary of the net position for each market.

I currently have 9 separate bets on the Dayton v Massacheusets spread and am having to manually calculate my current and contingent positions.

otherwise it's tough to win a 2 day contest when you have to bet 30k and there are only offers of 500 around

Yes, I second this. Particularly if you want to make things as convenient and manageable for the large players (i.e., market makers) as possible. We can't be calculating and re-calculating our net positions each time our position changes. Matchbook had a very nice automatic net position feature (showing the red and green figures and instantly changing them when your position changes). This is essential.

Another great idea, which ties in with the concept of showing a player's net position, rather than numerous single positions on the same event. If the net position feature is added, it seems that the suggestion he makes in the quote above would naturally follow.

Well I'll third that. I actually had a widget for that on the old front end, but on the new it's still a design issue.

As a temporary measure, however, the legacy JSON net fills feed from the old site should still work (at least for now).

You just need a valid session cookie.

It's also fairly slow on the server side so try not to run it too frequently.

Yes. Only the dollar quantity needed to support a players current positions and offers is subtracted from his total quantity.

This means that a player's amount available will often differ from market to market and side-to-side.

The figure given at the top of the page represents the lowest "quantity available" across all markets. It's what you'd be able to bet in a market in which you had no live offers and no fills.
