It seems to work OK. Although, I started the date at 12,9xx and it say my profit form yesterday was 30xx, so there is a ~100 point discrepancy. The overall profit lines up, though, so it is probably a $100 win that wasn't actually graded by the start of the day despite happening yesterday or something like that.

What is the meaning of the numbers in ()?

I am a little concerned with what I heard about buying seats like at the NYSE. Why would you want to limit participants? Why wouldn't you want everyone to be able to participate? The point of a membership fee is to limit the number of members. How does that help you? Or is that instead of commissions on every wager, just a flat rate for an unlimited number of trades?

OK here's what I think we'll do. I believe that this represents the most fair option.

All players with current bankrolls (after I grade all of today;s wagers) of $10k or more will be allowed to continue with those bankrolls.

All players with bankrolls under $10k will have their bankrolls reset to $10,000.

Yes as VegasInsider and Horja have already stated looks like all accounts were setback to $10,000. I had 16,800 plus and my balance is now in the negative 4,000+ because I put over 12,000 on Pitt. Is this a mistake caused by communication between Blackie and Ganch or another glitch?

same here ... I had $32,000 in pending offers on 3 games and a negative $22,000 balance, but after I cancel all offers my balance went back to $10,000 ...

Seems awfully serendipitous that this appeared to occur at about the same as the intended balance resets.

Question though .. was this just a display issue? Was there anything to suggest that for any period of time your balance really WAS $10k -- or might it just have been erroneously displaying the number between Ajax requests?

I logged in and had the following balance (aprox):

Total: $10,000
Avail: - $23,523.51
Open: $33,523.51

After I canceled all open offers my balance went to:

Total: $10,000
Avail: $10,000
Open: $0

It did not cross my mind to try to make an offer bigger than $10,000 afterwards to see if it's just a display problem.

Market makers will have the opportunity to buy seats and take an equity stake in the company. they will be able to trade for a flat yearly fee. Day traders will have the option to lease seats on a monthly basis for unlimited trading or pay per trade. The idea of selling seats is to get members involved and reward them in the event that the exchange can be sold or IPOD at a future date. If you werevable to buy a seat at Betfair 10 years ago with stock you would have gotten a great return on your investment.
