LeBrick is his new nickname no question about it. Not even coming close to hitting his shots.

Lol, Heat are 1-14 this year in under 10s. The 1 is a Lebron layup... You wonder why he is struggling this year? Pressure. Not much pressure in Cleveland playing with scrubs. Now that he's expected to win, he can't hit anything clutch. He's 0-4 in their last 3 close losses, and like 1-10(?) on the season.
You fanboi's sure are good for some lulz.Comment -

#112That Cav team was much better than this piece of shit the Heat has out there. The Cav's could go 10 - 11 deep with solid role players. The Heat have one guy in Lebronedick, a tin man in Wade who gets hurt every game, Bosh who is on his period every other day and a cast of misfits. Big 3...Originally posted by wikkidinsaneLebron led a shitty cavs team to the finals and now he is ona teamw ith Wade and Bosh I wouldnt be suprised if they win it all this year. East finals bound for sure to square up against the Celtics

LOL the numbers tell a different story. I stick to numbers instead of a compilation of awesome shot.
I am probably only one of the objective people in this topic since i really dont care much about basketball. As always i am surprised by the hate. Watching sports is great because of all our stars. Without lebron if would be much more boring
I am affraid that the haters will suffer great pain in the next couple of years because he is still pretty young and he will probably win it at some point in timeComment -

Which players are the best in the closing moments with a game on the line? 82games.com seeks out the answers in this look at game winning shot stats.
Samples are way too small to say something with any significance. I dont know if lebron is clutch, time will tell. However, you can factual argue he is not not clutch or at least as clutch, as for example, kobe. Again, too small samplesizes still the clutch hate is not justified it seemsComment -

#133Im always a numbers guy but after looking at the stats it seems insane that there on equal levels in terms of clutchness or however those numbers are based upon. Lebron is like 0-6 in clutch situations this week alone. As far as jealousy goes, im a spurs fan so im not a lakers fan. So i have no bias towards kobe.Originally posted by Rolo1984

#134A point that has already been brought up is Lebron made almost all of his "clutch" shots for Cleveland, where if they won, Lebron got all the glory, and if they lost, his supporting cast just wasn't good enough. Now he is on a team that is expected to win, even against the best in the league. I rarely sit through an NBA game that doesn't include my hometown Bulls, but I can offhand think of 4 missed game winners by Lebron this season alone, I'm sure there were more. Maybe this will change in the playoffs, I doubt it, but maybe.Comment -

#135everyone already knows 82games.com is a joke.
they set whatever parameters they wish such as counting baskets that ties the game as a "game winning" shot even if the other team wins it on their next possession. not to mention they always exclude kobe's game winning shots from prior to 2003-4 season and last season when he hit 6.
kobe has 26 game winning shots in his career, where they actually won the game because of the shots. how many does lebrick have?Comment -

again, I am looking at at it as a relative nono when it comes to basketball. But is clutchiness not more than merely the last shot? What if a player screws everything in the final minutes but somehow scores the finale FG. Does that mean he is clutch? I wonder because if that same guy did not screw up, a game winning short was not necessary. I am not implying kobe is that guy. Since I do not have a real interest in basketball. Still, i wonder why people only mention the last shot. What if a guy misses the last shot but kept them in the game by going on an unreal scoring spree in the final minutes to have even a chance on a game winning shot. Does that mean he is not clutch? I think that is harsh since without the same guy there wouldnt be a game winning shot at all.I just wonder how you can define if someone is clutch or not.
Additionally, noone remembers the game winning defence of the defence who made a game winning shot possible. People have bad short term memory and only remember the last shot i think you should look at the last minutes. Anyway you can leep on discussing what the rules should be for clutch.
I already said you should not take these numbers literally since you can always make up rules, which make your guy look better. Maybe the author was a lebron fan. Anyway the fact that someone opens a topic and with so many replies tells us that the number of objective posters is limited.Comment -

#140Anyone that thinks Lebrick is more clutch than Kobe has lost their dam minds. I've seen EVERY game of Lebron's when he was in Cleveland for 7 years and most of Kobes and it's not even close. I think the stats your looking at are for someone hitting a shot with 20 seconds or less on the clock. Well that's not what I call a game winner/clutch. Clutch is getting the ball and making the last shot. Lebron has conceded more last shots than he's taken. He rather let someone else shoot the game winner because of his weak heart.
