If the New York Knicks send Danilo Gallinari, Raymond Felton, Wilson Chandler and Timofey Mozgov to Denver for Anthony, the Nets are in discussions to then acquire either Gallinari, Felton or Chandler plus Mozgov for two first-round draft picks.

Melo overrated? Dude has the deadliest unguardable pull up jumper. He probably wasn't happy playing in Denver and he is still a 26+ scorer. Expect big things from him in NY!

Ever heard of Amare Stoudamire? Ever heard of Chauncey Billups? I could understand someone not liking this trade from the Knicks standpoint, but you should probably just stop...

EDIT - Very underrated player on the Knicks is Shawne Williams, was leading the league in 3pt percentage recently, may not still be though. And Gallo's been playing like absolute dick lately. Went an absurd amount of games without hitting more than one three and went through a 3 for 26 stretch from downtown. Still a VERY young player with a lot of potential, will be missed as a person and a player, no homo.

The framework of the deal, which is expected to pass through the league approval process Tuesday, is believed to be Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Raymond Felton, Timofey Mozgov and New York's 2014 first-round pick going to Denver for Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams and Anthony Carter, sources said. The Timberwolves previously agreed to take Eddy Curry's expiring contract along with Anthony Randolph from the Knicks and send Corey Brewer to Denver. But in the chaotic conclusion of this five-month drama, Timberwolves officials had not yet been informed that the deal between New York and Denver was completed. The Wolves also get $3 million from the Knicks, which will be used to buy Curry out of the few remaining pay checks on his $11.3 million contract.

At the end of the day Melo didnt want to sign the extension and has been saying he wants to play in NY. I wonder what Chris Paul thinks he wanted to go to NY with Melo!

Chancey Billups is 35 years old and Amare Stoudamire has one healthy knee. I'd bet you the Hawks will smoke them in the playoffs.

If the Knicks do that deal...they're fools. They're going for their own Big 3 with Amare, Melo, and Chris Paul in free agency next season. That strategy is tough to pull off when you've got nothing around them. God help the Heat if one of their Big 3 goes down because the backbench scrubs like Mike Miller or Eddie House is all they've got. The Knicks won't even have that. Chancey is solid, but it will be interesting to see.
