    Obama sucks. Don't pretend otherwise.

The governor of Wisconsin gave a speech last night, spoke straight forward truth for 8-10 minutes about the situation there and did so credibly, making those idiots overrunning the capitol and senators running out of the state look like immature children.

It occurred to me in the middle of it that Obama wouldn't in a million years be able to speak like that without a teleprompter.

I think it's going to be a Democrat who's going to do him in the primaries, as opposed to a Republican in the general election.

Don't forget, in addition to millions of disillusioned voters, there are many, many Democrats who've lost power in the last two years because of Obama. He has not delivered.

Says the guy who claims Obama saved capitalism and "saved jobs".

              Are you stoned?

Every big move Obama made has blown up in his face (last November's elections were an unmistakable referendum on how wonderful he's doing - historic Democratic losses and he's backing another loser with nearly 70% of America being against unionized gov't workers ... hey, don't be mad, I'm just sticking some facts in your face) and every move he didn't make disappoints the base who elected him.

Here's where you just went too far: """-reveresed record job losses, 4 million jobs lost 2007-8, a year prior to entering the white house"""

That's the most idiotic thing on this thread.

Obama pushed a gigantic "stimulus" (and unsuccessfully pushed for more) with the premise that it would create jobs and keep unemployment under 8%. Unemployment has been over 9% for 21 straight months - and this doesn't factor in the millions who've stopped working or gone "off the grid".

His policies are anathema to job creation and spurring the economy. In fact, the one field (no joke) where job growth has been spectacular is IRS revenue agents.

Off-shore drilling bans, putting the kibosh on developing shale oil extraction methods, over regulation, and the economic burdens of health care are just but a few of the reasons why this guy is job creation kryptonite.

              I don't see a 2nd term.

It depends....I always vote for the person I deem to be the best candidate for the country. Considering Obama has buried my kids with a mountain of national debt, I will take a close look elsewhere. Bush started it, but the Obama solution is to borrow money from somebody else at a time when I'm not President. It's shortsighted at best.

Bush did poorly, but when Obama chose to throw an anchor at a drowning economy. The numbers are damning.

We have about a $3.7 trillion budget and about $2 trillion in tax receipts. Obama pushed a formerly Democratic-dominated CBO and federal financial boards to project absurdly implausible numbers to justify the grossest overspending of tax money in US history. And it's already done "buppkis" for our country.

The markets don't react to government reports anymore, which is horrifying because that means there isn't confidence in the integrity from Department of Labor reports. Consider that a significant crack in the dam.

At best we're seeing a game of Presidential musical chairs and the music stopped under Obama - but I think he makes horrible decisions and stays loyal to a dream hippies created in the 60s.

Anyone who thinks he's smart should just consider the risk/reward decision he made to push health care in 2009-2010 like he did. Partisan wins at catastrophic prices = stupidity.

absolutely will vote obama - republicans run campaigns saying that govt does not work - then when they are elected to office they prove it.

you cant trust republicans with money or power.

Obama was a part of the ACORN movement that did the same thing. Both Bush and Obama should take the blame for that along with all the corrupt lenders who didn't even do income verification. But hey, the lenders didn't need to worry. They sold the mortgages to someone else.

There's borrowing money and then there's Obama. The % of deficit to GNP is off the charts.

By the sheer scale of it. 40 cents of every dollar spent is borrowed. Bush was getting shamed for running at 22-23 cents on the dollar - and he enacted measures, tax cuts, that ended up spurring the economy and increasing tax receipts.

Bush just couldn't reign in spending.

Obama not only encouraged historic increases in spending, he's enacting policies (taxes, regulation) that will retard economic growth by sending big corporations overseas, discouraging entrepreneurs (I can speak to this - the possibility of me hiring a full time employee is zero, thank you Obamacare - but I'm still holding out hope for an SEIU-style exemption)...and thus making the gigantic deficits more gigantic.

He is a disaster and, fortunately, disasters can't fool all the people all the time.

Massachusetts elected a Republican governor before Obama's term was half over - then he lost congress and virtually every battleground statehouse in the country.

I think that Obama is certainly beatable in 2012, considering that he has absolutely no clue as to what is going on, sends his goon teams to Wisconsin and Ohio to protect this union buddies, and will not stop spending. This guy reminds me of Stalin more and more every day. The challenge that Republicans have is finding a candidate that can defeat him. Since the Liberals have no options when it comes to defending Obama, all they will do is attack. The GOP must find a candidate that is not an easy target. That eliminates Sarah Palin, and anyone with the last name of Paul. The Independents are going to decide the next election. The GOP need not necessairily nominate a "moderate", but must nominate someone who is not a lightning rod. With the Democrats likely to lose the Senate in 2012, the GOP has a golden oppoetunity to rid the nation of Obama and the Demcoratic controled Senate. They have a ton of issues that they can campaign on, from the foreign policy debacle, to Obamacare, which the courts will shoot down, to inflation, which is now here, to the billions of wasted dollars that the Democrats are responsible for, to the Stalinistic tactics that Obama is using to try and save his union buddies, to Michelle butting into what we eat (and that is a hell of a lot of butt). The Democrats certainly are a huge target in 2012. The GOP can win, if they stick to attacking Obama's record, which is the worst since the Jimmy Carter debacle, and lay off the personal attacks. Personal attacks are the only thing that the Democrats have to use in 2012, and thevoting public will get tired of that real fast.
