I remember shoveling my car out of the Pennsylvania snow mid-December only for a snowplow to come down the street and undo all my digging. Right then and there I decided I was moving to the desert where I would never have to touch another snow shovel. I moved to Vegas on December 26th 1985 and have never regretted it for a single second. Vegas is a GREAT place to live! Good luck with your move!

It's not impossible just very very hard. What hurts you the most is you say you've never been there. It is going to be so overwhelming for you at first that I think it will be tough. Peolpe will tell you to stay away from this and stay away from that and without knowing your gambling history or knowledge, I can't honestly give you advice that you will actually heed. Good luck though. I use to live there myself and had a blast. At least you are trying something in life.

Ok what you need to do is talk to Trx about pts strategies so that you can live off of SBR pizza. Thus food problem eliminated. Plus living off of only pizza you will get so fat and ugly that the only hookers that will want to blow you will be too ugly to get you off. Thus hooker problem eliminated.

no poker room will give you comp rooms, best you can do is earn enough for food. they could give you poker rate for your room but its cheaper to just book on the hotel website.
your first problem will be transportation, what are you going to do to get around? if you have a car you can find cheaper accommodations and take advantage of some specials/ promo's off the strip.

ive almost taken this plunge myself, but not on purpose. those damn open balcony decks at the IP are dangerous! good luck to the OP if he makes this move, its going to take a ton of discipline. the best advice i can give you is don't drink alcohol while you're there. one mistake, if large enough, can ruin you...

You could split a house with cool people, live in a nice place, and keep your expenses way down. This might also allow you to just focus on sports betting if poker isn't your thing. BOL.

I consider myself a good cash game player in poker and decent sports bettor. My only downfall is I like action but this is why I am taking my best friend there to be my money management man. Only guy i know who will tell me no to getting more money out while i am yelling at him in front of the whole casino. he doesnt budge when I reach my daily limit so this is key to have. Getting all my court and unemployment set up here in michigan and heading out. looking to be out here early to mid feb! thanks for all the support guys
