#44i can probaly bench more than anyone here, but im also one of the fattest, so i won't brag. Plus i could care less about how much i can. I prefer slow controlled movements and inclineComment -

#45160kg (approx 350lb) 1 rep max...Mind u it took me almost 7 years of consistent gym training (naturally) to get to that point....Used to be a time when couldnt bench 100lb...GLLast edited by ACoochy; 01-04-11, 06:13 AM.Comment -

#47Don't lift.
I do about 200 push-ups a day though.
50 right when I wake up. 100 when I put my bets in and about another 50 before bed. (sometime i skip the 50 before bed if I'm drunk)Comment -

#51if you want to increase your flat bench press you need to do holds, negatives and forced reps instead of doing what everyone else is doing. you can hold more weight then you can raise and you can lower more weight then you can hold. The muscles will also fully contract in the fully contracted position.
No raising or lowering of the weights is even needed.Comment -

#60In my mid 30's I put up 300 at 170lbs. Now I'm in my mid 40's and havnt maxed out in years, 220 8xs is what I get up to now. Developing bursitis in my shoulders which sucks as it has cut me back quite a bit.NCAA Basketball

#61I havent benched since high school. I just do curls with real light weights, like 30-40 pounds, and do a lot of pushups like Paco said. I do about 200 a day, well i used to, have got lazy recently. But havent worked out on a bench in almost 20 yearsComment -
