In the winter, the temperatures drop all the way to 15C at night, and we sit around a fire with big jackets and hot chocolate and we trade stories of surviving ~~crocodile~~ alligator attacks.

Even though I know you call it a stupid system between distances of MLB teams... You realize in the Preseason that they all play in Florida or Arizona correct? They don't actually travel at all in the preseason... \

I admit my ignorance. I'm a perfect idiot. I didn't know all games are in Florida or Arizona.
But one thing I was right : a stupid system.

thank you, I didn't need the points but I appreciate it... You work hard and I have followed you for a long time and most importantly kept the thread clean

It is a very odd system knowing you live in Italy where there is no other system like this in Europe in any sport... , but it was developed along time ago because they want to test so many players and play every day they wanted to make sure that they can do it very close to each other. Also, maybe the main reason is that Arizona and Florida are FOR SURE warm enough, whereas Places like New York and Boston have Snow in March still and play out doors...

There are two "preseason leagues", the "Grapefruit League" for Florida, and the "Cactus League" for Arizona.

In hindsight, maybe I should have told you... but it was just for fun, and I didn't want to ruin the Italian fantasy
