Do not open an account at bookmaker.com at any cost. You will be phone-spammed constantly to deposit.

You know, I read this complaint a lot about the phone calling, so it must be true, but they have never called me even once.

Cascade has called me, also Royal, and WWTS back when they were in operation. Maybe one or two more, I cannot remember.

It was funny, the WWTS lady was almost flirting with me and asked me to call back "even if I just wanted to talk". Sounded almost like a stripper line, reeling a customer in.

I'm obviously in the minority here, but I see no signs of danger with the Cris family at all. It is, however, absolutely horrendous what the original poster has had to go through.

Cris does gouge, of that there is no doubt. But I have made withdrawals every Friday for weeks now, up to $2,500, and in every instance the money is in my Moneybookers acount within an hour.

Now, that's Cris of course, not Bookmaker, but I figure if one of them is thought to be in trouble, the entire family might be.....

I would ask to speak to each successive boss until I got to the owner. This prolonged agony is unexcusable and needs to be told to someone hugher up the food chain, i can guarantee you that someone higher up needs to rectify and apologize for this. Good Luck!

i am w betcris and have never had a prob tho i never had to wd cause iv,e only been a few months; they never call me either;;

also w all sports books it takes 30 days to find a lost bankwire;; so demand checks at all times,, i've heard these horror stories
before ;; books try and make u take the wire and sometimes purposely screw up cause they get to earn interest for a month or two while trace is on

This has been going on for months and not one SBR rep has posted or commented about it. If this was any other book you would have seen a downgrade or something. Never hit your cash cow in the mouth.

If bookmaker is the company that took over betcris, never given them a dime. I bet with betcris last winter for a few months before I stopped gambling for several months.

Over the summer they called me every day. I ignored the caller ID. I finally answered one day and told them to stop calling. They told me they would honor a 20% bonus on my next deposit.

In November I felt like gambling on some football so I called them up and asked if my 20% was still good. I purchased a **** gift card to make the deposit. The customer service rep told me to hang up and make the deposit online, then to call back for the 20% bonus. She basically implied it was in the notes. I deposited like 400 and called back. They would only give me 10%. The guy said 20% would never be honored they only give 10%. I argued with the guy then told him this was my last deposit. I ended up losing the money quickly, but I never deposited again.

I also have had an account with betjamaica for over a year and I only bet with them now. I have been winning a decent amount(knock on wood) since the bowl season and have requested probably 6 or 7 withdrawals, all over $1000. The check is at my door the next day EVERY TIME. They are hastle free.

The only thing I really care about with these books is prompt payout. There can't be a better book than betjamaica when it comes to paying promptly. The rewards bonus is also nice. I got 200 a few weeks ago which I dumped on Rutgers money line against Villanova. That ended up being a free $700.

i was worried about a pending payout I had with bookmaker after reading this. received my check today. all told, it was 10 calendar days from payout request to check in-hand. now i just hope it clears! hope you get your payout too, burgerbaron.

I left Bookmaker around September and after many years of highly recomending CRIS I warned players to leave them then. Bottom line Bookmaker is not the CRIS of old. Get out of the book and dont look back. Thanks for the memories CRIS but you want get another penny from me.

Wow! you know what Im really getting scared about all this. Note not one comment from SBR. What gives you'd figure this thread has been up for a while, and yet not one response Billy whats going on pal, you guys are the Superman of the sportsbook industry and yet nothing on this. Happy Boy, They have just send me $20,000 cash delivery with DHL. It came in a package. The money was wrapped up in bundles of $20 bills. I finally answered the phone last Friday that has been ringing for 6 months non-stop everyday and they said I was the 1,000,000th customer and they are sending me the money as appreciation of my business with them. I took them on the offer and I haven't felt better in a long time. Please do not encourage people to abandon the ship yet. They told me that the 2,000,000th customer will get $40,000.

I pmed a couple sbr mods and dozer. the sbr mods said they would get one of the owners to get back to me when they were phone spamming me. Not one did. Bill totally ignored me. I had to go to another website like this one who got them to immediately stop with the spam phone calling. Once again why is SBR ignoring this? Now I am really wondering because I came to this forum a couple years ago for help when Cris was ripping me off. I thought SBR was going to help me but they ruled in Cris's favor. Now I am starting to understand why. It is like going to NAF with an arbitration claim against a credit card company. Those companies pay NAfs bills so of course they always rule against the consumer. Nothing different in this case.

Bookmakers payouts started taking longer and longer. They started the you can only request 1 payout every 7 days crap which wasn't horribly bad untill the payouts started taking five to ten days to reach you. After you receive your payout your 7 days start over so if you request a payout on the 1st and receive it on the 8th then its the 15th before you can request a payout again. The Book owners that I have spoken with about this feel this is a total joke. If a player is forced to leave his money in the book the chances are very great that the player will eventually go bust. Its the same concept Casinos use with Room Comps and free food free drinks.... The longer you stay the better chance the book has at you. I'm leaning toward the Greek brand which includes Bet Jamaica as well. Theres a start up book BetJoint that I like as well they guarante a 72 hour payout but in most cases its faster than that.

I used to be able to call CRIS if I had a problem talk to a manager and get things straightened out quick. The customer service reps no longer transfer calls to management they simply quote policy... refer you to the rules on the web site... and then tell you to be patient. I DONT WANT TO BE PATIENT WHEN I WIN.... I WANT MY DAMB MONEY.

It looks like you may need to check with your bank. Have you had the opportunity to give them these transaction ID numbers? I also sent this to your email. Bookmaker said you have made about $1800 in deposits after the withdrawal request. Your bank should be able to use the successful transactions to help you.

Also, it may be a good idea to fax BM a running bank statement. With essentially four parties involved things can get mixed up and it indeed is very frustrating. I suggest trying to work back from your bank.

On Jan 11th he claimed he did not have the funds in his account. Our processor traced the funds to his bank account and received confirmation from his bank that the funds were in his bank account. The reference number for that trace is ********.

Thanks Bill for comming forward, was starting to get worried since Bookmaker is one of my favorite books. sbr is like any other business. If you pay them enough, they'll bend over.

Betonsports.com which went down in flames spent tons of money on advertising dollars. On 610 WIP, which is the major sports radio station in Philly, they advertised regularly. They put all their money into fooling people they were legit.

A site like sportsbetting.com gets a weak rating on this site and in the 6 years I bet through them exclusively I never once had a problem getting paid promptly. Their customer service was also excellent.
