Who knows if Billy Walters actually took Pitt. Show me the proof, meaning I need a picture of Billy Walters handing 100 grand to an employee of MGM and such.

That doesn't make him a sharp. Bet size does not equate sharpness.

A bettor with a betting size of $50 can be sharp as long as he wins with his strategy.

The title of this thread could have been John Smith bet $50 on Miami -3.5. That doen't make him a square.

No offense, but if you live in Vegas, if you know the history of the computer group, you will know Billy Walters is the sharpest of the sharps.

You are right with your original statement, but BW is one of the best.

        Trust me.

Thats nothing. Adam meyer layed 600,000 on Navy last week and this week he wagered 800,000 on a play.

It was not Walters who determined the plays. The computer group had only one genius who was way ahead of his time in using a computer to analyze lines, and it wasn't BW.

Wojo, do you where that genius is now? Just curious.

Walters sandbagged his way to a pro-am win.. scummiest thing you could do in sports.. would be the equivalent of being a stiff in the gambling biz

meyer doesn't have 600k to bet. he's playing monopoly money and bw didn't bet 100k on pitt thurs. he gives his picks to a few close friends who are high end poker players and one of them said his numbers pointed to un in the thu game.

You are right about the computer group. The last I heard, the computer geek was still handicapping.
