im guessing he just made it up about the bet.

BW is very famous for running various syndicates. golfing sharp too...got into into a pro-am last year and won it easily IIRC.

I just read that Walters lost a 2 million money line bet on the Super Bowl----he went with the Colts and lost obviously.

So for those of us on Miami----maybe its okay he is on Pitt.

I love that shit Coug. I am amazed at some of these bets.....there was a great article on Phil Ivey in CA---the guy is feared at the poker tables---but continually pisses money away betting sports.

I always try to make a case for the team I am betting against---and the only thing I can give Pitt any credit for is the home field. I just don't get the Pitt selecton.

and secondly, the superbowl is no bigger a game to a handicapper than a random week 5 game between two terrible teams. its all about the numbers, not the Prestige. so the story that he made some huge bet on the superbowl doesn't even make sense.
