How exactly do you figure the Giants have a shot against the Phillies?

Against a depleted Braves squad (missing their HoFer 3B, AS 2B, and now their HOFer closer), the Giants haven't exactly been playing lights out baseball. The Braves lost Game 1 to Paul Emmel, a shady ************ for sure. Lincecum pitched a helluva game, but so did Lowe and that game should've gone to extra innings. Game 2 also came with a bullshit call from the same ump causing Bobby to get ejected, but the Braves found a way to win somehow off The Beard. Game 3 the Braves lost due to Bobby taking Kimbrel out, and Giants Hero Brooks Conrad giving the game away. He alone was worth 0.75 of a loss for the Braves, in ONE game.

How do the Giants have a shot to take down the Phillies now? I'm not saying the Braves have a shot either, but playing the "what if" game, the Braves should be up 2-1, and who knows what would've happened in Game 1 if Posey was called out, cause rest assured he was out.

Giants are good my a ss. Bobby and Conrad singlehandedly lost two games for us this season. And baseball in the playoffs is a game of breaks and I cant think of one in three, now almost 4 complete games that they have got. In the 7th Infante was on second base and they called the runner safe. That would have been 2 outs and Johnny struck the next guy out. This is fuc kin bullshit and I never thought Id say it but I want instant replay in baseball badly now. I mean idk how good the braves would fair against the Phillies but my God they deserve to be there. I don't understand how Conrad and Bobby mess up but these umps mans its just simply the worst..... I hope we get some power and speed this offseason but I can't wait to see bobby go

Well the inevitable happened, no surprise, doesn't make it any less tough. Realistically had no shot given the quality of players we were forced to play, but this has been one of my favorite teams in a while. The future is bright for the Atlanta Braves.

Don't agree with a lot of Bobby's managerial decisions, but my eyes watered when he was tipping his cap, I'll miss hearing his words of encouragement from the dugout for sure. Won't be the same with Fredi Gonzalez next year, but we'll be okay.

Counting down the days 'til next April now...

whatsgood man im totally with you and I know Frank Wren will do all he can to acquire some big names and hopefully big bats this offseason. We have great youngsters and a pitching staff and pen that will carry us for another 3 years.......but man i still cant forgive brooksy...Idk about that avatar bruuu i gotta question it like injuries or not we def should put troy there a little earlier this series or even hinske to get that beast more abs. No matter what im with you i loved this team and players overall but I am happy to see Melky go man.....No doubt in my mind if we have a healthy wagner chipper and prado we win this series while even potentially winning with a sweep......... Now its all Falcons man
