#107Freezing also kills germs. Obviously. Do you think that you would survive if you were out in the extreme cold, with nothing to warm you up? Of course, sub-zero temperatures kill. That's something that you should've learned in your high school education.Originally posted by HauntingTheHoly

Freezing doesn't actually kill everything (I just looked this up on the Internets to confirm). What it does do is slow/stop germ growth. I typically have some bowl for cereal, usually Styrofoam, and another for soup, usually glass because almost all plastic can release stuff into the food at hot enough temperatures in the microwave. Maybe the designated soup dish, I could leave out since I heat it up later anyway, but I don't want to find out.Originally posted by chilidogFreezing also kills germs. Obviously. #109Me and a co worker we on our way to a pizza joint for lunch in downtown Toronto and they were having a bar b que for the homeless people. Since we work construction we were pretty dirty anyway so my buddy goes and wait in line and get a free hotdog. I refuse to and went to the pizza joint instead. The rest of the day he kept nagging me say shit like I'm stupid I think I'm better then him ect.. Then when I told other co-works what he did he got all pissed at me and would'nt talk to me for a week.Comment -

#111This local charity casino that I frequent on a regular basis had those nice fancy schmancy brass drink holders. And everytime I went, I would notice the 5/10 and 10/20 and the rest of the poker tables had gradually empty holes where the holders used to be. I guess some or a lot of people are swiping them for their home poker tables and these aren't cheap.
I'm not sure if this would qualify but with the economy not getting better anytime soon, people are turning to stealing things a person with common sense wouldn't do, and that is stealing copper wires (up to $3 a pound) off a live 13000 volt power line. There's a reason why there are signs posted saying 'High Voltage' or 'Electric Shock Risk'. The picture serves as a grim reminder why some things are better left untouched. You might soon see this on an episode of 1000 ways to die.Comment -
