they were supposed to send out info on where to pick up passes and such but I never got anything...I confirmed with Becky on the 27th of June, looked in spam as well, nothing...

Bodog said that they were gonna have a Representative give out wrist bands at the Mixer Friday nite for those registered.

Mine went to the Spam Folder. I got it in the morning on the 18th.

Basically it says..

"For SBR Forum posters please see Bodog Becky or the Ayre Heads Friday night, SBR Social at the Golden Nugget to pick up your wristband for access to the CalvinAyre.com Forum Posters Social at Bar Noir in the Luxor"

I wish there was some sort of arranged roundtrip transportation for this. I'd glady pay a small fee for a shuttle or party bus or something. It would definitely beat the 1-way $35 cab ride.

Probably too late for Bodog Becky to arrange something. I'm not tripping though, Open Bar at Noir is more than enough.

Now that is a great idea. It will not hurt so bad if we do that. Just find out at the hotel how many that wants to go to that event and then go from there.

According to mapquest.com, it's 8 miles from the GN to the Luxor. At Las Vegas cab fares ($2 per mile), plus the usual drop charges, that's more than reasonable with three or four riders splitting the total.

yeah it makes luggage too heavy. I won't be there anyway, but if I was, I wouldn't be checking luggage. I just got back from a trip to Chicago and Milwaukee and I didn't check luggage, but it gets hard to fit everything in when you have to have other pairs of shoes.

It's a freakin' two-day trip. No wonder it takes an hour and a half to get through the security lines at the airport; half the people there need 18 bins to put all their crap through the x-ray machine. I could sell my house and move into another one and not take this much stuff with me.

Anyway, if I went to Vegas, I'd certainly plan a larger trip around it. I wouldn't fly all the way to Nevada for a short stay.

Totally agree... packing even for a short stay (I'm doing Thurs to Mon) is a total pain in the ass! I'm trying to decide if I feel like lugging carry-ons around or just sucking it up and checking a bag. I just get paranoid something gets fukked up, like it goes to San Juan or something. Plus it costs now, right? Though it could be cheap, I don't even know.
