2010 SBR Bash Itinerary

Have been a member here for a while but never posted. Is there a minimum number of posts to qualify to attend the events? My wife and I will be in Vegas and we would like to stop by Friday or Saturday.

Is this guys serious? Pretty sure the Bash was intended as a thank you to the posters for their contributions over the year. Based on your contributions you are eligible for 1 Italian Roll with cole cuts that you and your wife have to share in the hallway

anybody know about the price is right game live tuesday- friday at 2,30 at ballys? It cost $54.50 to get in the audience and 8? Lucky people get to come on down. Might be something to kill few hours in aftern noon maybe thursday you have to register 3 hr?s earlier so that might be a good day to go to ballys racebook early in morning
any thoughts on this?

i got some people from the other bash interested in going to this better odds if a group of people go so one gets selected to go on stage and good publicity if a poster gets on and says they are here for the bash and is a little change of routine for a few hours in the afternoon

I, too, was looking forward to attending an event or two since I will be in Vegas. They told me no dice since I didn't 'register'. Pretty weak. I heard the RX will let you attend their events. Just show up. I registered over there too and look forward to meeting some of those guys. As far as 'Trojan' comment - ignore him. People like that who contribute nothing to the forums.

We just show up and check in. There was no hassle last year and they had my room ready.

The first 2 bashes just show up. Last year I booked in a night early told them I was with the SBR group and stayed in the same room.

Never had a confirmation number from SBR.

It has all been set up rooms are reserved under your names, all you have to do is show up.

If you qualify for the reimbursement it will be handed out at 8:45pm on Friday Night in the Pebble Beach Room, during SBR's Meet & Greet event.

I feel like something was mentioned about discounted rooms at the Golden Nugget if you stay there extra nights (Thursday, Monday).
I plan on arriving Thursday night, so I will be staying there an extra night.
Am I crazy, or was there something mentioned in a earlier post/thread?

Eidolon, I think they are a reduced rate for us, but I can't remember what Sam said it is... I'm same as you, I'm staying two extra nights, Thursday and Sunday. It's definitely something cheap for us! (but I don't think the rate is too high for off-nights there anyway... not sure though)

You are usually better to book it direct yourself and then tell them your with SBR when you check in and ask to keep the same room. It's worked for me for the last 2 bashes. This year I am at the signature for the first 2 nights then the nugget the last night I haven't booked yet.

Sam explained it to me that its $49 for the extra nights but you get to keep the same room where as the nuggets $39 rooms are run of the house rooms so I take it as you would pay the same price if you went to them (Nugget) directly

If you're going in early or staying a couple of extra nights afterward, you can go to any one of a number of hotel booking sites and find rooms at the GN for a price that's too good to pass up.
