The humidity would be an issue. I figure if I can take Vegas heat, I can probably take Florida humidity. Right now in NE we have the miserable winters for 4 months of the year, so it's a fair enough trade off. Ideally winter in Florida and summer up North or Colo, etc. but I can't do that. The heat/humidity is a reason I don't want to be stuck in central Fla ( Orlando) at least it's a bit more bearable on the coasts.

FISHHEAD WHAT WAS SO RIDICULOUS ABOUT THIS STATEMENT (WHERE THERES NO BLACKS IT WILL BE EXPENSIVE) THATS NOT RIDICULOUS THATS THE FACTS OF LIFE FISHEAD GET A F-CKING CLUE.

He probably means Iowa, but that is valid. I think one could find a lot of cheap places that are very white. These come to mind....

NH, VT, Maine, Iowa, ND, SD, Wyoming, Neb, and many states bordering Canada.

HOW MANY BLACK PEOPLE DO YOU THINK LIVE IN THE HAMPTONS PROBABLY (0) BECAUSE WHITE PEOPLE PAY THE EXTRA MONEY TO GET AWAY FROM THEM THIS IS A KNOWN FACT.

IF YOU HAVE MONEY YOU DONT HAVE TO LIVE WITH NIGERIANS THE REST OF US ARE STUCK IF WE LIVE IN BIG CITIES
Have you lived in Boston your whole life Jim ?

This all white population is mainly baptist so don't take one fishing with you, he'll drink all your beer. You have to take 2 baptists with you because one wont drink in front of the other.

Very low crime unless you count domestic violence. When you get large white families together they get drunk on shine & whoop the hell out of each other but leave everyone else alone.

Cost of living is as low as you'll find anywhere. The economy is down everywhere but if you're in a specialized field you can find a job
So this place borders Fla, Texas, Virginia, NC, SC, LA, Al,MS, and more.

              where is this ?

I lived there from 1982-7. I did like it. I lived in Vista, San Marcos, Carlsbad, Oceanside. Traffic must be awful there now ? Kind of expensive there, too ! Weather was perfect if on the coast.

Temecula is too far inland. Good place but I want somewhere new to me.

                                        I'm the opposite Jim.

I'd rather be sentenced to live somewhere in Florida from June through Sept. instead of somewhere in New England from Dec. through March. Both are good times to be somewhere else.

Why are you so attached to Boston, Jim ? Haven't you ever thought of living somewhere else ?

South Carolina is full of Golf courses, Jim. You'd probably love it if in a good area.

I couldn't believe all the Golf courses when I drove through that state. Stayed at a friend's house ( like a mansion) on Hilton Head Island. It was beautiful but nothing I could afford. I think the year round climate of coastal SC would be pretty damn pleasant. I'd expect Charleston to be a lot more hot and humid but better than Orlando weather.

I don't know too much about Texas other than it is huge and affordable. I've never been there other than an airport. I'm pretty sure I'd need to be on the coast ( Corpus Christi ?)

                                            I'll tell you where

Someplace warm. A place where the beer flows like wine

Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.

I'm talking about a little place called Aspen

No, I've never spent more than a week or two in the South in the summer, but 5 summers in LV working construction. In somewhere like Daytona Beach I figure you change shirts like a tennis player when outside, and jump in the ocean a lot or you are in AC. No heating bills in winter should offset AC costs. I don't even use my AC in Ct after living in LV, my parents home never had it.

How about sell the 2 rentals in Boston, move to Naples and buy an 8 unit building and rent to Cubans then go to Boston in the summah ? Now you have great weather 100% of the time and year round Golf.

The intent here is a place I could realistically move to. English speaking is important, so kind of leaves US. Canada isn't warm enough ( except BC but that costs a fortune).

I figure buy some cheap place ( home not condo) **** my $222 month condo fee in CT, plus the high property taxes. I could buy something and blow off homeowners, if it goes, it goes. Wouldn't need to make much money to live on.
