To all the haters, and even doubters: Lets put this into perspective, it is SBR POINTS, chill out. If you are angry at losing points through this investement then you are either stingy, retarded or just a complete prick.

This idea has made it a lot more interesting regarding each game Wal places the wagers on.

He has even gone through the trouble to pm us the plays in advance.

Great job for taking on this experiment. It's made WC a bit more fun & if you run the SBR pts. into the ground, who cares! It's SBR points! People, unless you're buying/selling yen against dollars against SBR points...than whatever, it's called entertainment. Not like you can sell SBR pts on Forex...can you?!

Let's all grasp reality and just enjoy this. That includes BeeMore, or at least have a beer dude.

The problem is that anytime there is something done openly (semi openly in this case) there will be haters. Some hate because they don't like one or more of the personas involved and some hate because they simply have nothing better to do.

I don't know Pavy personally but I have paid attention to him since I became more involved with Players Talk and I am confident that even if these are just points that he isn't taking this seriously and doing his level best to ensure the quality of each play.

I don't know ANYTHING about these teams but the telecast and highlight shows I have watched have said themselves that this World Cup has had more than a few surprises thus far.

We are in a hole and they are just points but I am confident that we will do well in the second round and continue to improve throughout. I would rather be in the hole after 6 days and see a profit at the end of it all than the other way around.

We had some bad luck that's it. The futures look good with Argentina, Brazil, Netherlands, Paraguay to win the group as well as good chances for the other teams to advance. As I told you it was my intention to have 50% of the fund invested in futures and 50% on day to day bets. At the last minute after everything was ready to go I received a call from Wal telling me we can only bet 100 points on each future. I have done most of the research prior on the futures. At the last minute I asked for my points to be turned back so I can wager some points with my account. By the time I was able to wager anything most of the to win futures where not available so I was forced to bet only on the teams to advance. We ended up investing only 20% of the fund in futures and not with the point allocation I preferred.

So now I am forced to wager more on individual games than originally planned and when we get a day like today when we lose bets in injury time it's going to hurt. The other option I am considering it to suspend all day to day betting until the group play is over and then wait until all the futures from group play are over and start betting more on knock out stage.

I wouldn't change a thing. It's just one bad day. Plenty of time for winners.
