BP is as much a US company as it is british, it has headquarters both in london and houston

and some years ago it merged with amoco which was one of the biggest US petrolium brands

check the board of directors, there are more americans than not

and what does it matter were the company is from? who gave them permits despite the obvious risks and lack of safety regulations and procedures? and who watches idley by as they fail to do anything to mitigate the disaster? it seems as though bp is waiting for the well to dry up and they think all that oil will evaporate or something

Bama shores are still oil free although the oil is closin in on the mouth of Mobile Bay. And you guys do know that petroleum is used for a lot more than just gas don't you? Things like rubber, plastics, cosmetics, bubble gum, soft contact lenses, artificial hearts and pacemakers, Antihistamines, surgical equipment, bandages and household cleaners. I may be goin down to the Gulf in 3 weeks. I will take you pictures.
