Speaking exclusively to one of Kenneth Weitzner's former lovers, Gambling911.com can reveal that "the Shrink" had a preoccupation with suicide to the point where he would often read up on various methods in which to take one's own life.

Weitzner and his wife, Jackie, were found dead this past weekend in their Chesapeake, Virginia home of an apparent double suicide. Reports also surfaced Tuesday that they had poisoned their two puppies with sleeping piills and carbon monoxide, the rumored source of death.

"So crazy about Ken," said the former love interest. "He had a lot of demons and was getting more and more paranoid. At first I was really shocked. I do remember him telling me how he would look at suicide websites to see different ways people committed suicide. I always thought that was strange, but now kinda makes since. Just such a dark manipulative person."

Weitzner was known to have trysts with many women, some of whom his wife later learned about.

Funeral home owner, Bob Oman, told our own Thomas Somach the deaths were part of a "suicide pact" where both Weitzners apparently agreed to mutually commit suicide, although we seriously doubt those poor puppies had much of a say in the matter.

Oman said he was told that by authorities who investigated the deaths, although he added that he was not given specific details.

Kenny owed lots of agents, he and his wife loved money and loved spending money. He simply could not accept he would be broke the rest of his life and in debt and decided this was the best option.

don't hold that against EOG. when a suicide occurs, the family usually does not know what to say and they don't tell the truth right away. they make up a story. i've seen it a few times first hand. people said a guy had a heart attack when later we found out it was a suicide. 2 things here: #1 since it was a suicide the family probably just said whatever came to mind until they were comfortable enough to just tell the truth (suicide is often embarrassing for the survivors who feel they might be judged), and #2, remember the day michael jackson died? there were so many rumors swirling about him being on life support, he was actually dead already, etc. if stories can be changed w/someone as visible as michael jackson, they can happen w/ANYONE. let's put this "eog changed their story 3 times" stuff to rest once and for all

I know little about the wife, so no comment about her, but Shrink is/was a man of low character.

Except that people who go into witness protection do NOT stay with family in another state.

If he and his wife were, in fact, taken out, there probably is a lot more to the story than meets the eye.

I would think that if it were a "hit" it would not be made to look like a suicide. If he was a rat or owned someone money and they put a "hit" on him/them, they would want it to look like a hit to send a message to anyone else who maybe owes money or is thinking turning rat.

I dont think he would be facing jailtime for running a book because its out of the country, the governments authority can only go so far... once you are out of the country they can't do anything

But if he resides in the United States, they can still prosecute you. Just because your crime is in another country, doesnt mean you are immune. And if he is providing an illegal service to American citizens that gives them even more to go after him.

i can't see how he would have to kill himself over gambling debts. Surely, he could work that out with some free advertising at eog and some type of payment plan. I know the numbers being thrown around are huge, but every bookie I've ever known would rather get something than nothing.

If the story about killing the puppies is correct, it is very interesting. Hitler killed his German Shepard before he and Ava Braun committed suicide. Interesting that a person of the Jewish faith would opt to do the same thing, but he may have gotten the idea if he, like some former flame said, had a compulsion about suicide. I wonder if his wife had the same compulsion, if the story is true.

Hitler killed his dog to ensure that his cyanide pills were real. He was worried that he got fake pills and would not die. I doubt this had anything to do with hitler.

I still don't understand how the Tony guy still has "thanks dad" up under his name. It blows my mind. At the same time if what they say is true, his mother agreed to this "suicide pact". That just if rough. One most understand how bad things were. I see that picture of the Shrink with his stogie. Before this happened people probably thought he lived the life. Some life. Hopefully people learn from this.
