I think Houston struggles today. they have been inconsistent throughout they year. lost their coach. dc was supposed to coach, but applewhite got hired. defense has to be inspired to stop state running game. and state protects the ball.

I actually think Houston beats the shit out of SDSU. This will be the best d line they have tried to run against. The coaching issue has been resolved so that isn't hanging over the program like other teams and the players like Applewhite. I think they use this game as a statement and will be motivated to deny Pumphrey the rushing record.

And let's be honest, SDSU didn't play anyone this year. There isn't one team on their schedule with half the talent Houston has. Probably the reason Pumphrey has all those rushing yards.

definitely a difference in competition. Houston has given up 150 yds rushing 3 times and lost 3 times. they are 3-6 ats as a favorite and have either lost or made games closer than they should have depending on motivation. if they are just as motivated without herman is my doubt.

I just think the Herman thing will be the motivation as players will look to prove Herman isn't their whole program but you are right, if they don't come to play then SDSU should be able to gash them on the ground. I just think Applewhite will have them ready to play. I guess only time will tell

With Berry not 100% I won't be, UNC big men have been a disgrace especially in the Indiana game. Meeks looks like he took 3 steps back from last year. Until they start showing me they have a pair I can't back them. Coming into this showdown UNC has been very sloppy of late without Berry and playing like a bunch of Nancy boys
