When do they call a hit with the shoulder?? They only call it if it's helmet to helmet. That was as clean a hit as you can get.

Texas isn't trash this year Plaza. They are going to be pretty good. Dare I say they will compete for the B12 title. Look at how they beat Oklahoma last year. They have talent but they were very undisciplined. Now they have guys that are accountable. They were definitely improving as the year ended. I don't think ND should be ranked 10 but they're not bad either. I think both teams will win 9 or 10 games which is damn good.

The fact that he was clearly unconscious on the ground and the replay booth didn't call down to look at it was ridiculous. He wasn't lying there because he had the wind knocked out of him. You could see him fighting the trainers trying to get up. Much like a UFC fighter who has just been KO'd and the medical staff is trying to look at him. Unconscious = head shot. Yes, it was the defender's shoulder, and it was a dynamic play with a very small, legal strike zone for the defender but you can't say that Hunter Jr. had a chance to defend himself.

Not when you shoulder tackle... What is he supposed to do? Let him catch the damn ball? You come across the middle, you are going to get hit. I played WR and got blown up way too many times to know.

I don't know what to tell you....especially in the NFL, any hit to the head on a receiver is a personal foul now a days.....They call it unnecessary roughness.

College more so if the defenders lead with their heads as they have the targeting rule

That Hunter play was close but I was surprised they didn't call it because I've seen much less get called

It was helmet to helmet. Straight bullshit.

NCAA officiating is garbage. They look at everything they don't need to, ruining momentum and rhythm, and then they don't look when a guy gets knocked out in the end zone on helmet to helmet targeting.
