Things are going fine. The mods have used the new tools with a few guys who went on a binge. But guys are given slack. Most of the time a guy gets souped up maybe because his bets went bad or who knows why. Most pull them self out and thats what we try to wait for.

i can tell you there are nights when i log on, scroll down PT and see absolutely zero threads that interest me. not saying you should limit posters, especially when you have JJ doing POTM telling these scrubs to "get your numbers up".

is there a distinction between PT and the private zone? i don't know where half of my threads belong. and if you deem something unworthy of PT flush that shit. put a sticky at the top of PT outlining exactly what floats and what doesn't. violators should be flogged with some type of non-life threatening weapon.

and i hate nothing more than people posting a smiley face or quoting someone's post and adding some animated bullshit.

              Thats a pretty good post.

For a while it was the wild wild west in Players Talk. Slowly but surely guys who overwhelm the place will be toned down by the moderators. It's a process that is probably better done in a slow and deliberate manner. We do not want to use any more moderation than is necessary.

A good penalty will be to not award the 25 points for milestones if a poster accumulates more than 1000 posts a month.

25 for 1000 isn't very good value anyway. Let em wear their filangies out.

OK Men...I suggest you do nothing. The community can regulate themselves. For example, say someone (a loser) makes 50 posts a day. If the community doesn't like the poster they will not respond to his threads, in turn, they will either post less or go away.

I actually like that idea. 99% of guys can not posts quality if they are hammering out 1,000 posts a month. Probably should take 25 points.

This is not a bad idea. 25 points for the milestone is not that tempting for most, but I think having a milestone reward is still a good idea. We still want people posting after all. I think it should be 50 points @ 500 and tell the handful of power posters this will not apply to them if they continue their antics...Or put a cap on 50 posts a day.

this is an easy fix, reward people (like me) with less than 300 posts per year.
