My review of the game:
1) Balogun won't like the red-card. When you play sports, you're responsible for your movements. It was a sloppy move, I'm OK w/ the Red.

2) I still view Pulisic as a light-wt. Teams love to bump him. Hope he proves me wrong.

3) I wondered why Pochettino waited so long to use subs. Tells me he doesn't have much faith in the bench.

4) What a free-kick goal by the young man. He's now in my top 3 favorite TILLMAN:

5) Game-effort by Bos-Herz. The former Yugo teams (like Croatia) know how to create chances. Even saw some sportsmanship when a Bosnia player consoled Balogon the red.

I think this has been the best world cup ever.

They should have the World Cup in North America every 8 years from now on. Give Mexico and Canada a few games and the rest in the USA. They have the best sports stadiums in the world.

I came into today with a pre determined mind set. I think the cream rises at this stage of the tourney. We haven't seen anything special from Spain so far. As a fave , not even close imo. You can't deny the quality of the individual talent , can they finally put it all together? Austria aren't World beaters by any means, especially without their best player midfielder Baumgaetner. Awaiting official line ups , just think the real Spain shows up against a very beatable opponent.
I love Portugal regardless of Ronaldo starting or not. That midfield is the very best on the planet. Croatia have old legs to offset ( Modric 40 , Perisic 37 ), and i dont see them lasting very long in this Toronto heat wave.
The late game is still a mystery to me. My gut leans to over 2.5 and BTTS

Not impossible but it's certainly unlikely. Mexico obviously an advantage at the Azteca but eventually talent plays a factor. Portugal cant win that side with Ronaldo. He isn't up to snuff.
