In my leagues the picks are due Thursday 8pm so it doesn’t make much difference if I play the Thursday or Sunday games. Though I will avoid Thursday if possible because they always seem like such a crap shoot with the short week.

it’s been nice scanning next week’s possibilities with a win already secured on Thursday. I am considering another Thursday game with New England facing NYJ. I think I will use NE either of the next two weeks vs NYJ or @CIN.

Depends on the closing line at the Jets. But that's a great stat (either way).

Carolina hasn't been favored too often. We'll see how it plays out today.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Nasher survivor is a love hate. Bottom line I'd almost always prefer losing earlier. I am a seasoned survivor player (15 years?) and have been way to close 3 of the last 5 years. Putting in the effort I do and essentially wasting 16 -18 weeks of your life, (And yes they are more and more precious as I age), is VERY PAINFUL.

We agree often. FYI I'm in NE, worried about Maye's last performance (ATL). Expecting them to regress today (TB). That short week concerns me!! Consider "popularity". Thinking VSIN projecting a very high NE usage THU. Causing me to think.

INDY turning into a pumpkin?? Obviously NICE to have Taylor as a safety net. So much for the supposedly stout INDY D.

I'm just getting to old for this. I played 10 weeks to get BUF -9/10 vs MIA with the majority of the pool having already used BUF. I did make a BIG note to be cautious off a possible letdown coming off KC win. I have one of 8 left 80/1245 total. Just getting to old.

brutal. I got knocked out of a small pool with only 6 people left and also knocked out of the DraftKings pool as well all on Buffalo.
just have the one entry left in a 107/1362 contest. I have a rule of no road, divisional teams but this far into the season you gotta consider everything. Shame on me for breaking that rule, ugh.

Shark, over 15 years of doing survivor I have substantially reduced my emphasis on home field. There is a BIG variance regarding which HF you're talking about. Also DIV games. These people are not 24hr/per week/mth/season. Used to be 12/14 games with reasonable travel. It's a different world now where emotional highs and lows matter.

Anyway, I hate when I warm myself (BUF letdown off KC) and don't listen. My gambling mind, even after 60 years tells me things and stupidity/stubborness/age cause me to mistake.

... And a decent Sony would cost you 2K.
Now you can get a 40" Magnavox with brilliant resolution for 200 dollars.

There are certain things in life you pay up for, and you pay down for.
TVs you can get quality while paying down at the same time.

I need some help here. Expect NE to be big public fav and figure this week could be a trap coming of TB/Road. I do have BUF alive coming off that embarrassment at MIA.

I hear your concern, NE should be safe though, Vrabel is too good a coach to have a let down game.

No, I was smart enough to keep the mess inhouse. Didn't want to incur additional.

Several of my friends are suggesting my wife for HOF. LOL. Still get reminded of the time I was supposed to take her out for Birthday/Anniversary and subconsciously took a sharp left to the Dog races exit (my regular). OOOps. LOL.

                                  Anyway, BEST to all!!

Seabrook, but certainly many days years at Wonderland. To convince her I bought dinner 40 something nights in a row at the Hilltop.
Fillet and huge lobster pie was like $15. Fillet was so big that they had to teach me what "butterfly" meant. For those unknowing, It was so thick they had to slice it in half to cook it properly.

In my glory days distance tracks would publish their last 6 starts. Name escapes (Telmor?), but I was one of a short few who had exposure to priors at somewhat superior tracks. There were so many ways back in the day to get sharp data. AI and all is great I guess, but now seems everyone knows everything. Maybe it was too easy back then. Add .05 and .10 lines.

Sorry for the ramble just missing some precious history.

                                        Best to all this week!!

Using patriots this week, not really any other options. It’s getting dicey for me. 107 left in the contest.

Pats playing well and at home against the Jets on TNF. This is an easy play. Good luck!

1 of 83 left of 1245. I have zero faith in NE tonight. Was forced? to play them as 90% of the remaining 83 all have the same availability. Really kind of sucks as I got this far and best case , other than wild plays, is likely at least 10 survive to the finish.

Was thinking of maybe MIA but still not sure that gets me as NE at NYJ other likely playable spot. Tough year!
