It will be extremely hard for any National League team to win the series this year.

I was thinking about taking Tampa Rays to win it all... but i dont know what kind of odds they are
best pitching in the majors and its not even close when u consider starter depth and bullpen
Tigers can matchup starter wise but the tigers bullpen is awful and the Rays can hit now

I'd consider oakland but Detroit owns them. They would have to hope someone else knocks off detroit

I gotta disagree with you on this 1 bear. The bests starting rotation in baseball is in the nations Capitol. Stas, Gio, and Zimmerman are just Fn nasty and can shutdown any line up in any park. If they could get the kind of run production they got last year I'd pick em to win it all. But I can see Tampa winning the AL I think Stl wins it all.

how do you figure? If cards don't have an injuries, they have pitching a lot of hitting, they can win and have proved it before.

homefield advantage means alot.
Its nice to get those first 2 games of the series at home and the potential game 7.
Most teams play significantly better at home.

Moore
Hellickson
Price
thats a hell of a big 3
with the rest of the starters moving to the bullpen and Rodney closing
and big boppers like
Longoria
Zobrist
Myers
Loney
Scott
and coach Joe Maddon is a wizard. Bout to go see what price i can get the Rays at.

i think they would be a good pick right now with the odds in there favor...kershaw 3 times in a 7 game series and greinke as a 2nd starter can win the nl pennant
