Talked to a CS today. He said we would have to put a trace on my >9K check. Was sent the 1st, and had been 20 days. Wonderful!!!!! Anybody been through this before? How long did the trace take, and did you ever get your money???

I can almost guarantee you they will tell you your check was resent between 15th and 17th (Thats what they have been telling everyone else) My check was originally sent may 2nd, but now they say it was the 15th...they will then tell you to wait til June 5th before they will look into it anymore. I talked to CS today and they told me I should be receiving my check any day now...HAHAHA

Yeah, i almost got them to initate a trace for me today. But then they came back and said that they just spoke to the withdrawals department, and the withdrawals department said that the check was actually sent out on the 15th. marc, what do you mean meaningless? Have you had one done before? If so, how did it work out, and did you eventually get paid? So far no one has gotten back to me saying it was actually sent on the 15,16, or 17th. Maybe it's really lost, or still in transit. Who the frig knows!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just looking at all the people who were waiting for their wires that were "sent" on 3/21. I highly doubt they actually put a trace on all of those wires

The processor says the check was sent on the 16th, and doesn't know why I don't have it yet. Can somebody tell me why they woulnd't call the bank who is issueing the checks and "mailing" them out to see what the problem is???? That would take like 2 minutes to find out what the problem is...wouldnt it??

Spoke to Customer Service all day yesterday b_tching. So finally last night they sent me this
"Charles,
Thank you for contacting us.
I would like to inform you that the processor confirmed that there was a transmission error with the bank wire information that has now been fixed and that you funds should already be in your bank account by June 8th.

I think you are one of the few people still waiting from the 3/21 batch. Most people got paid a week ro two ago. Looks like this german processor is having some real problems. Wouldn't suprise me if their bank is asking questions or shut them down entirely.

What I really don't understand is why Sportsbook.com continues to use this processor. If they just told everyone to keep thier withdrawals under $2500, they wouldn't have players asking them everyday where their money is.

Yeah, I got my 49k from that account. Then asked for the bonus, and then they closed it. I had withdrawn every last penny. So i'm not owed anything.

Crazy how back in March they were so generous and gave everyone a 5% bonus for the delay in payouts, and now they don't want to give anything. $50 is already an insult, but then to insist that you bet it today, it would have been wiser to give nothing at all. marc, do you suppose since we pledged to them we'd initiate chargebacks, they've held our money longer to see if we followed through. I now believe in my mind if you're up on them pretty handily, they will put you at the end of the list. This sportsbook business is truly crooked. May just pick up another hobby to spite them.

Whether we like it or not, sportsbook.com & all the other books out there are running a business. Who knows the actual people that are really behind it, but they have company bills to pay & employee wages to worry about, not to mention their own pockets to line. Like any unregulated business with a dominant market share, they are naturally going to jam their customers to the fullest tilt, for as long as they can get away with it...

If we want to deposit & wager there in the meantime, we will, but ultimately it's our choice (I'm not counting those of you who have withdrawn & are just waiting for the final funds to come, with no intention of playing again). They are clearly having issues with the ability to properly run their business, which leads to the question of how long they can remain solvent. Regardless, I believe they will do so until the bitter end, i.e. there is plenty of room for them to continue...

Based on my own experience with this book, as well as that of friends & the feedback from folks on this board, it is clear that they are tightening controls. In my opinion this is an attempt to shore up the core business they have (i.e. lower limit/consistent wagers that give them a 10% take on every matchup).

I have been with SB for years, & they have recently reigned in my limits on all sports bets. Granted, they haven't closed my account like they did marc's, who appears to be one of their size players, but they have sent a message that basically states "we cannot profitably take your size action". I find this extremely disappointing, but in the same breath realistic as a business concern. I do not believe these procedures would be taking place were it not for the absurd regulations of a certain North American government that have driven many customers completely out of the picture. However, I also believe there is little chance they will stiff any customers in the near term. Yes, it will take time to get your withdrawal, but the end is not near. As long as there is significant demand for this service (duh), they will continue as a going concern, albeit with customers they are confident they can consistently clear $$$ from...

Own, how long have you dealt with this particular book? Do they owe you any monies at this time? I hope you're correct, in terms of their busniess longevity. Have done quite well utilizing this book. It appears this fact is haunting me!

I have been so patient with the payout thing. I continuly played there everyday while requested a withdrawal for less than 2.5k. However, it has been more than 1 month now and not a word from these people. Patient do run dry. My friend was sent an email to say the cheque was sent on 15 May however, that sounds like a delay tactic too as surely not in her mail box.

For the life of me I can't figure out how SB decides who to pay, and who not to pay. Now they are saying that thye are going to start using another processor for withdrawals over $2500. But whereas before you could have accounts at each of the different books they manage, now tey only want you to have one. It used to be very rare to see them cut someones limits, now it is common place. I'm sure anyone who used to make deposits, cashout and redeposit to collect the airline miles is going to run into problems. They aren't going to want players like me clogging up their withdrawal queue.

The good times are over. And unless the processor has some news today, I think it may be a long wait now before anyone else gets paid from this processor.
