Its all a matter of opinion unless you go for something specific like most wins or most yards or most championships

Cry Baby Montana couldn't whip his way out of a wet paper bag. The only people that should get any credit are the SF front line. I'm a Dan Marion fan myself. He never had the opportunity to have a great line in front of him. He had to play ball. Now Johnny U did do some amazing stuff on the gridiron, more so than anyone else. The earlier QB's you mention I know nothing about. There's so many great QB's you mentioned that the team should get the credit, if they had been on a team in the cellar you would have never heard of them. Back to Montana the jerk make sme want to PUKE every time I see him.

Gotta say you Elway should be higher, back to back, come on and he beat Favre for one of those. And his back to back isn't marred by a spygate cheating scandal like Brady's is. Also the list should be divided into say Classical era, modern era and hyper modern era. Because in my opinion you could put Bruce Gradkowski on a team in the 40's and he would probably have thrown like 50 touchdowns.

I agree about the eras... the game has changed so much, you almost need to separate the lists... but guess it's more fun to just put it all together and still have to make the choices.
Sick of hearing about Spygate, that whole thing was a joke and so overrated. And Brady went 18-1 in 2007 after Spygate!
I think it's a pretty solid list. Like others have noted, I'm not familiar with the guys from the 40s and 50s, so can't argue with them.

I would have Montana 1st and have Steve Young take Bart Star's place. Star benefited tremendously from having a great coach and an unstoppable running game. When the Pack had to pass they were in trouble. Star was a great leader and one of my favorite players of all time but not in the same grade as Steve Young. Otherwise its a great list. Staubach and Montana were the two best imo.

Joe Montana 1st, which one of you Yahoo's are coming to my place to clean the puke off the floor? Give credit where credit is due. A QB having a half hour to throw the ball is not any kinda credit to him. All the years your boy did so great. The offensive line was a monster.
