Illegal and unconstitutional to seize wires

I have read the consitution and obviously seizing wires without a hearing is illegal.

But the DOJ could care less.

When they declare war on something, be it gaming, or drugs, the constitution goes out the window, until or unless a court wants to intervene, which usually takes time and doesn't happen that often.

It may be illegal and unconstitutional to seize wires but the DOJ does this type of thing anyhow.

They seize drug money, boats, cars, houses, bank accounts, and yes neteller money, assume everything they are doing is fine unless a court yells at them to stop.

The way it works in this country is your stuff gets seized, and then if you want it back you proove your innocence.

This is why repealing the PORT security act means nothing, because the DOJ will keep on seizing and threatening. If you want the online gaming industry to be healthy, you'll need a court to make some rulings about the legality of seizing gaming money that convinces the DOJ they are not doing what they think is their job.

      BigLoser needs to banned.

There is no way naming the book hurts his cause. I guarantee you the book hasn't given him his money for the seized wire. By naming the book, a lot of people can be helped.

This reminds me of why Americans are so rich. We are so brave. All these Euro-types made all this money during the Internet gambling craze and all these Euros talk about how oppressive and corrupt the US government is.

In the end, who turned out to be a bigger pussy than Neteller? Who is a bigger pussy than the people that ran BOS? Who is a bigger pussy than Bigloser? These ****ing people couldn't wait to wave the white flag. These people are pathetic.

The kind of bravery Americans have is rare and unfortunately dying.

Look to a man like Jay C. There is a brave man. There is a man that stood on his principles.

Everyone wants to trash talk the US government and it may be deserved, but who's give-up, surrender, run-for-the-hills attitude turned out to be responsible for the 2 biggest offshore stiff jobs?

Gutless cowards, two-bit punk types like Bigloser. You guys can't wait to surrender. No wonder you all hate Americans, you don't have the HEART to ever stop us from doing anything.

Could you imagine these Neteller or BOS types fighting in a war? Or standing up for what is right.

      LOL.

Guys like Bigloser make me sick. Getting rich off Americans and the freedom that has enriched so much of all us.

You pussies could never beat us in a war or anything else. You can see this defeatist, surrendering culture in everything they do. Look at Neteller, look at BOS, look at Bigloser. All Euro-wimps. Pathetic, the whole damn lot of them.

Did Bigloser ever get his money reimbursed?

If not, is he willing to name the book?

if you're uk, why the **** do you have your account in USD? just open an pinnacle account in GBP and all your problems are solved. besides, what good is USD if you're in UK?

Yes got it from the book. Not sure whether it was a charitable act or if they finally managed to get the money through themselves.

Still nothing from Neteller. Still expect to receive it though. My bank is working with Neteller and Neteller now have a vested interest in getting things sorted out.

Yes I am sure they called the DOJ and they released the bankwire to the sportsbook

Are you kidding me with this rhetoric or what?

The book clearly did the right thing and it sounds like they could be indicted next so I think you should name them.

Clearly you won't, but we can stop pretending the book got the money from the DOJ and just mark this one as "doing the right thing".

                      Sounds like Olympic.

Pico, there are a lot of non americans the use USD accounts. I'm one of them. All my accounts are USD. Some sportsbooks only take USD. When neteller was available to me it meant easy movement, no exchange once I got it to neteller. It is the same thing right now for moneybookers. Some e wallets make me have my money in CND$ and I get hit with exchange all over the place. I have US$ bank accounts and wire money or get money wired to me all in US$. If I strictly dealt with Pinny I would have only a CND account. When my neteller account was in CND$ I got hammered with the exchanges.

Good, bad or indifferent, US$ are accepted everywhere. You just don't leave home without it.

Are banks required to fill out SARs for bankwires and checks? I thought SARs were required for currency only.

I think it is pretty clear the post is INcorrect but I could be wrong.

                              Hi,

Same thing happened to me, I was sending 10 000$ USA at Matchbook from Canada and my bankwire got recalled because they said it's for " Terrorist or gambling purpose" They will do this each time the beneficier name is a bank name and sound fishy. I got my money back without a problem but I can't send anything by bankwire.

I sent a $50k bankwire to Matchbook via Chase in late July, the money was in my Matchbook account in 6 business days.
