Illegal and unconstitutional to seize wires
I have read the consitution and obviously seizing wires without a hearing is illegal.
But the DOJ could care less.
When they declare war on something, be it gaming, or drugs, the constitution goes out the window, until or unless a court wants to intervene, which usually takes time and doesn't happen that often.
It may be illegal and unconstitutional to seize wires but the DOJ does this type of thing anyhow.
They seize drug money, boats, cars, houses, bank accounts, and yes neteller money, assume everything they are doing is fine unless a court yells at them to stop.
The way it works in this country is your stuff gets seized, and then if you want it back you proove your innocence.
This is why repealing the PORT security act means nothing, because the DOJ will keep on seizing and threatening. If you want the online gaming industry to be healthy, you'll need a court to make some rulings about the legality of seizing gaming money that convinces the DOJ they are not doing what they think is their job.
