#110Lets go! Doug don't need the booby prize. We are going all in for Zverev. This is his best chance for a Grand Slam and he knows it. Also he can make a small gambler rich tonite for the rest of his life.Comment -

When you win. Cash it all out. Pretend your still playing with your 50-100k bankroll. They will be kissing your ass and bending over backwards to try and get the money back.Comment -

#114How hard are we rooting for Doug to drill this?Originally posted by mjsuax13How much you think down lifetime?
I'm honestly surprised that Keys was able to get this done. 29 years old is pretty old for a tennis player.
Doug, I hope you nail this w/ Zverev. He's very accomplished for not having won a Major yet. Sinner is a monster, I hope Zverev cashes for you.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#116Can you summarize this thread up to its current state? Like the "for dummies" version? It's a lot to sort through.
As I understand it, Zverev wins and you net 1.2M? When is the match?

#117It’s two fold… I really like Doug and think he’s a great poster and the kid has courage/balls. Doug is relentless and that is something I admire AND THEN, I root for everyone to beat the book. They print money so it’s always great when the guys on our side of the counter hit em.Originally posted by ChuckyTheGoatHow hard are we rooting for Doug to drill this?

#118He bet Zverev and Keys to win title at about 100/1 to win over 1.2 mil.Originally posted by Eddy MunnyCan you summarize this thread up to its current state? Like the "for dummies" version? It's a lot to sort through.

Before womens final he put 26k on a Keys/Sinner parlay to pay about 150k. Which puts him about where he was before his recent losing streak of 100kish.
So he is sitting on a freeroll for 1.2million.
Personally I might take up Biggie's offer for a couple of hundred K more of a hedge, but I don't think anyone can really give this guy advice on what to do. Clearly he has enough smarts about futures and hedging to handle this one!.Comment -

#120If you are getting a risk free $1m. You can use that to generate a practical risk free 100k salary (over 8k month income) a year for life. Who in god's name can't live off that, and not be satisfied?? Only people that cannot are the un-educated, and people in serious debt, non-house owners, car payments or leases. All goes back to the same un-educated thing. Be smart and GL. Once in a lifetime opportunity hereComment -

I wrote this out a few days ago so this would be the initial plan before speaking with a financial advisor.Originally posted by veriableoddsIf you are getting a risk free $1m. #124Yeah GL. I hit a parlay similar to this like in 2003. I was lucky when I was young (1999) to inherit like 350k,(mom died in car crash, parents were divorced) after being stupid to the obvious and 75k down in just a year started to wise up. Oh boy what a learning curve endured.
here are a few great ideas generally speaking investment wise, nothing wrong with dreaming!!

#129Doug is awesome with his futures bets at tennis majors
now, he's got to push the pedal down and put at least 20k on KC -1.5
then, if it's the eagles v chiefs, be patient and put another 20 on KC in the SBComment -

#135All things considered, without question the worst day of my gambling life cuz of what could've been. Best & last realistic shot I'll ever have at a 7 figure score. Not big on conspiracy theories but FD never offering a cashout & it being this straight forward makes me wonder. The icing on the shit cake was losing another 19k on Z winning a set.

#137Needing a set and losing a tb is always sick. He was up a mini too at 1-2 and gets immediately mini'd right back. Not only would that have won you the set bet but it would have given him momentum going into the 3rd and anything could happen from there.Originally posted by Doug tushyterrorAll things considered, without question the worst day of my gambling life cuz of what could've been. #138No reason to even bet that since I would've been at 152k doing nothing & could've at least WD the 100k that I lost the last 2 wks & kept 50k in. Now with 134k I'm gonna try to get it to 200k before WD that 100k. I could easily see myself tilting & losing it all before I get anywhere close to 200k with my current mindset.Originally posted by ThaWojNeeding a set and losing a tb is always sick.
