Raiders, I've been scouting out this game. I like it.

A few things:
1) Colts were one-yard away from covering vs JAX.
2) They looked lively w/ Richardson at QB at Hou.
3) Do you think Richardson sits for sure? You're right, Richardson to Minshew is parallel at worst.

Only difference is that Richardson was providing some explosive run plays. Also, I see that C Kelly is on the Injury Rpt.

On the Baltimore side, a few things:
1) Consider the BAL/CIN game. So much is tied to Burrow health. That's not the real Bengal team.
2) One thing I noticed in my Baltimore review. Their explosive plays have dried up. Makes sense for end of 2022 when Lamar was out. But even in the early going of 2023, their Offense looks sluggish.

They ARE better with Minchew IMO as well.

Not saying the other guy is no good but you don't have to deal with that learning curve.

Minchew might help here.

Balt. had 4 starters out last week. Didn't miss a beat. 7? That's pushing it.

Steady rain all game is predicted.

Hopefully 8 is enough.

CB Seymour. 0 starts last year.
LB Robinson , rookie 0 starts drafted 4th round
C Mustipher bum starter from Bears undrafted
FS Stephens started 4 games last year.
CB , 3rd string

can be replaced:
RB Dobbins
WR Odell
LB Bowser

Who knows what happens but you can cover up a couple of starters out but not 1/3 of the team. If Lamar goes off, then Balt tough to beat.

Mekari is more than ok and Stanley hasn't been healthy in years anyway so is that even a dropoff ?
If you watched Game 1 and Game 2 the answer is NO
If you still don't believe me then look up what Von Miller said about him

Yes the secondary is missing some big names but Humphrey hasn't played all season. Tyus Bowser ditto. Williams got hurt in Week 1. If you're basing your play on that, you're doing it based on information that's been known for weeks or months

Seymour will continue to have 0 starts. Darby, Ya-sin and Stephens are all ahead of him
The 3rd string's name is Arthur Maulet. Do you even know the guy he is replacing ?
Me neither (well actually I do) so what does it even matter

Who cares, maybe their pass rush will actually improve now

And Beckham ?
Who cares x2 this isn't 2016 anymore

I will say that's still quite a list and even though everything I said is true, there can always be a sort of domino effect where it reaches a tipping point. Still I would say rain is your biggest ally here, not these injuries. Jackson has some ball security issues and it's doubly so when it's wet out

Something though you may also consider is that Jackson might play with a bit more an edge this game given what happened over the summer and the contract situation. He could take it a bit personal that the Colts didn't make a serious bid for him when he was tagged

With Oweh out, Harbaugh already stated Friday that second-year outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon will be called up from the practice squad to play in his first NFL game

Moon may be better some day but I'm not going to debate this further when you think a practice squad guy, a 4th round rookie with no starts and another guy with 0 starts can replace starters. Baltimore could blow Indy out. Indy is a bad team but I'll take the 8 points.

Public is pounding Bal although the score may be 31-10 Ravens. DK has 92% Bal. Others have Bal too but not that high. Public looking at the Richardson injury thinking it's a big deal. Sharp money keeping the line down is my guess but the only thing that counts is the final score, not sharp money. Being on the right side means nothing. The rain hurting Minshew is one thing I'm worried about
