When I set up for the contest, I had no Bookmaker acct and I entered NO PRIZE. Now, it looks like I won't be able to change that if I get a Bookmaker acct before the deadline next week. The "no prize" cannot be replaced by an acct # nor can the 'no prize' box be unchecked. Should that be the case?

As I remember, the system would not let me proceed without entering a BM acct # or 'no prize'. I would think I would have a chance to enter an account # in place of 'no prize' if I open one in time.

No. Your email is never provided to the sportsbooks.

You don't have to enter all your weekly accounts in at once. You can just for instance enter Week 1 account number, then scroll down and hit Save accounts.

If a contestant intends to eventually add all 15 weekly round accounts, just enter the first one in for the first week, 2nd before the 2nd week etc, or enter all at once. Don't click free play though since you can't go back and edit unless I make the change myself.

Grand Prize book must be entered when your first week account is entered.

If you win a weekly prize, where are the (typical 5x rollover) winnings deposited?

I have assumed that the winnings will go into the account that is sponsoring that week's contest, but there is no indications in the rules where it will go. Can we say which book we want it to go into? Can you just put it into Bookmaker since that is the final season sponsor?

Man, 2 years ago you guys just mailed us checks, and those days seem looong gone.

On the other hand, I like having to be positive in the points to cash in since that will make the winnings pool smaller and more deserving.

It's a 4X rollover requirement. Winnings go to each weeks sponsor.

What are you guys gonna do about jazz? Just boot their ass if they won't let us have a loose lines and jazz account .. The rep told me they're pretty much the same thing with different owners.. I can't get a Jazz account cause I signed up with LL's first.. Doing anything about this?

So last year we were forced to sign up for a new book to play BTP with the caveat being that we'd get 4 contest credits to play with in the future. Now those contest credits are worthless. Seems fair.

The credits ran their course, and did what they were intended to, allow entry into other contests, such as MLB Moneyline Madness which required a credit per month, and the NBA On The Money contest. Many players used all of their credits.

Looselines and Jazz fail to have Kentucky listed as a state, I live in Louisville... I mean they have every other state and territory but Kentucky, so I just listed my state as Indiana, just sucks that 3 weeks are sponsored by those 2 if I do win I probably wont be able to get my money out without moving or supplying a different address

I hadn't used all my credits and was forced to open an account and deposit at somewhere I didn't really want to play. Now it seems I need to open a mania account, jazz, dsi and others.

I think Cobra has a legit beef.

I have a suggestion/request for consideration:

I understand the format of the BTP contest this year is revamped.

Those of us with remaining contest credits on the SBRContests.com site are not able to use them for anything according to prior posts I have read.

Since we basically purchased these credits by depositing into SBR affiliated sportsbooks, couldn't there be some way to get at least get forum credits for these contest points?

I personally did not enter certain contests so that I would have them remaining this fall, only now to find out they are worthless.

Did you answer the question from the poster who asked, is beating the prick based on record (like it has been in the past) or is it based on units?

I understand you have to be at least .500 and + units to qualify for the weekly prize pool. I get that. But if I finsh 2-2 (+1.00 units) and the prick finishes 2-2 (+0.9 units), do I beat the prick because I have more units or did we tie because we were both 2-2?

Is who beats the prick determined by record or units?

i think i'm having the same issue with LL/Jazz... they told me when I went to sign up at Jazz that I already have an account and CS told me to use my LL account number... I saved the chat session...

i entered this onto the BTP acct screen for Jazz. Let me know if I should change this...

Alot of us who had credits would have saved one for this years BTP where the prize pool is dramatically larger then any of the other contests. It only made sense to do so. But now with no warning we are told that they are useless. I, and many others would have used them up playing the other contests if we had been told in advance that they were going to become useless.
