I think that depends on the delivery of the post. If someone posts about a pick claiming to be an 80% winner, this game is a lock, no way team x loses to this garbage team z....etc... Then they open themselves up to shit talking, basically shit talking begets shit talking. Its only natural.

Now, if a poster comes out and says: this is my play tonight, I like team x because...and delivers a solid, rational take then there is no reason to be a dick to calm, rational posters.

I have many times, I don't make a point to come here and post my picks to make myself feel better about me. I post here as time and desire allows. Not saying to never trail or that I never have, but if you are betting money that you earned its kinda silly to constantly rely on someone else for your picks.

And if a poster doesn't want people to talk shit (mostly) then maybe not be a chest thumper with over the top takes.

must be nice. I usually just get a bunch of assholes throwing shade (thrills, and some other guy named plaza or something) who only come in when I lose (it happens) and have nothing to say before a game is played.
