I like to give some of my reasoning when posting a pick in Players Talk, adds substance, maybe opens up a debate

People will say write-ups don't matter because a case can be made for both sides, but we all have some reason why we made a pick

I absolutely agree . I have had a rough year this year a ton of really rough losses . But i always post plays and most times the numbers that i spent all that time looking through. Gets discouraging when you spend all that time only to lose over and over in continuous heartbreakers.

And i NEVER EVER NEVER EVER Post something as a Lock. NOTHING is EVER a lock. So i go by the numbers and play the %s . However last year despite having a great year almost cashing out close to $100000 there was 1 game that lost and this poster went way over the line . Basically blamed me for losing his money. OP had to warn him he got so bad. If you are not going to post your own plays do not blame someone else if their game loses i never say anything was a lock. I post my play and post the numbers and hope they go accordingly.

1 play a week gets you about 3 times to criticize during that week, but gotta be all different posters

I think that depends on the delivery of the post. If someone posts about a pick claiming to be an 80% winner, this game is a lock, no way team x loses to this garbage team z....etc... Then they open themselves up to shit talking, basically shit talking begets shit talking. Its only natural.

Now, if a poster comes out and says: this is my play tonight, I like team x because...and delivers a solid, rational take then there is no reason to be a dick to calm, rational posters.
