I’m sure Lawrence will be great - he’s only a freshmen - but he didn’t have 2 show much tonight - those passing stats is very deceiving- he’s biggest plus was not turning the ball over tonight -

Most of Lawrence's throws were either fifty fifty balls or to open receivers, I don't see him as some great quarterback because of this game.

Agree but rookies that didn’t watch the game would think he put up monster numbers - he was not pressure at all - miss a ton of easy short throws - he’s still very young and can be great - but the biggest plus was not throwing INT

I call it how i see it - no bias shit - kid out play Tua and didn’t turn the ball over - but those passing numbers is inflated - Clemson defense and O-line was the bigger reason Clemson won - I’m sure Lawrence will be great - but don’t ever say he can play in the NFL right now - laughable

2 things that stand out - Tua playing a bad game and Bama defense absolutely couldn’t put any pressure on Lawrence - Bama offensive play calls was very suspect also - they had Clemson on the ropes throwing the ball early and back off after Tua 2nd INT- seems like saban was badly out coach tonight and couldn’t adjust 2 counter dabo - Clemson defense got stronger as the game went on also

The Miller injury was critical too since Bama had no depth at linebackers. Changed the whole defense , e eryonw thought he would play at time of this post.

Tigers offense was pretty much bama’s vs sooners. They could do whatever they wanted and score whenever they felt like it.. difference was tigers defense held bama to nothing but meaningless yards. And yea dabo coached circles around saban!!! That fake fg was about dumbest play call of the college season!! Tigers had regular defense out there not fooled at all, if you gonna go for it you do it with your star qb not a fuckin kicker and holder!!!

Bama had 1st year offensive coordinator and the same with the defensive coordinator.

I guess Nick is running out of good coordinators to hire.
