Read that Harris should only play a quarter. Hoping that’s all he gets. And Montreal’s QB gong show worries me only cause they might give the other team short fields haha.

Harris got hit early in the game tonight and left the field with an injury but they don't think it's serious...

Not serious I believe, I watched the full game. In the 4th he was on the sidelines with no ice, and there was just a limp.

Montreal started camp with Josh Freeman as their starter (yes that guy that played for Tampa). He retired a week into camp, and now Drew Willy is their pencilled in starter.

I'm sure our Ottawa resident Coolcanuck79 will give us more updates once more news comes out.

Johnny football made his CFL debut tonight, made a couple mistakes .... Ran too far out of the pocket, didn't quite make the line of scrimmage when throwing it away, got tripped up by Washington, who is super speedy. Speaking of super-speedy....Frankie Washington looked awesome tonight. He helped Purdue cover few spreads back in the day. Manziel didn't look very comfortable on the larger field & certainly did not look fast. Hope he pants out though.

Hamilton definately didn't cover tonight but, they wont be an auto fade this season.

As a side note, I am 3-0 so far with under bets. 5 pre-season games in the CFL so far, 3 unders, 2 overs.

Potential under 11.5 play season total on Winnipeg.
Their #1 QB just went down with a non contact injury.

Only out 4-6 weeks. Their backup only has 5 career CFL completions. I’ll probably do a small under bet.

1-1 today, year to date is 4-1.
Saskatchewan's offense was complete crap. Oline couldn't block anything, starters got owned by backups. Collaros was a mess.

When I gave this out, it was 1.8 odds. Now on Bet 365 it is 1.61.
I also have a great betting angle that I will post later today, or tomorrow.

Good Luck guys. It's game one and too early for me to kick into gear but I will warn that year after year in recent times the CFL has come out firing with underdogs.

Last year, the first 8 games, that's the first two weeks, resulted in the underdog covering the closing line every time with 4 of them upsets. Even then the favorites didn't even things out until about week 9, when the favorites finally covered all four games.

Past years have seen similar results.

Totals stuck about 50-50 last year but we've seen Unders dominate other early seasons.

My sharp forecast has done well the last three years with no discrepancy against the spread and really takes about 4 weeks of play to get going. In week 4 we may have some indications though. It's also done well on the moneyline but has left something to be desired with Totals.

This year I will adjust the forecast to be what I think is sharper, but I will leave the same forecast method that has kicked ass the last three years up as well.

Not sure about bold plays, maybe just those forecasts because they've done so well.
