So this was filled at .275 and it just kept falling.

This is a great way to short. You can get whip-sawed though... and I probably will since I posted this. LOL

Roy it's still i think unusual to get pinksheet/bb stocks for shorting. The fact that Schwab had this stock available
for you to short says something. Have you ever entered an short order with Schwab (otcbb/pink only) - and gotten
the response that none is available to short? or HTB (hard to borrow) ?

If other Schwab customers are holding this stock in their cash accounts, I think they have to at least legally be offered the
option not to use their holdings for this lending purpose.

This was the first time at Schwab I tried.

There was a box to check that you agree to rent the short for .34 a day or whatever. I shorted 140k and it was $2 a day.

I had trouble at fidelity buying a preferred on ET. Tried it at Schwab, no problem-a.

BTW, I'm back from vegas. Closed out my tsnp short.

food for thought. Any stock in a 401k and certain retirement accounts can't be shorted. Any other can be unless a sell order in. i have 1500 in cydy with e trade. i put a sell order for 300 a share on cydy. i have 800 with td ameritrade that is a sep. i don't have to put an order in.

Etrade invited me to take a long hike on a short pier after a few wires from Coinbase & Bitfinex. Fuggers rejected the last one.

I liked the old circa 1996 eTrade website. So easy finding stuff, tax records, transfers, etc.

I've heard that, and yet I've also heard it doesn't matter. What used to matter is held in cash or margin, or even if you don't have a margin account, but only a cash account - that your shares could not be lent. For example, if I owned a pinksheet that is not marginable but my account is a margin acct, they could lend it to Roy. But, if I only have a cash account, they could not. I feel like asking because it's been a long time since I was concerned about non-marginable "securities".

I've squeezed the trigger several times on the way up thinking we have to fill in a little at least. Loser trades.

I have a hard time thinking we will make a lot of downside progress in the last 3 weeks of '20 against a backdrop of 20 million vaccinations and a trillion in stimulus coming eventually.

Looks more like good ole fashion profit taking.

Yeah, you're right. I think the same as the Santa Claus thing is real. I'm going to take profits on my SPXU before the end of the day, and tomorrow the SPY will be back around 370. I may even buy UPRO into the close if things look right.

Actually, we may just have a rip your face off rally into the close where the day goes down all day until there is about 20 minutes or so left in the day before the price magically rises to the gap we started at. Keep an eye out for that shenanigans as well.

Just switched off the SPXU and went with the UPRO into the close for a scalper. I will not be holding after the close so this is just an hour thing.

Got it at 71.85. I'm wrong at $71.35 and will get out below that number. 1000 shares
