Out of IDEX now. Stop loss took me out. It's tanking hard. Not sure I want to get back in right now. The coverage on it needs to quiet down on it. Too many people trying to pump it up. I like picking the quiet ones that sneak up there.

Edit: Actually ended up re-buying shares at 2.40 right before 4. Didn't think it'd sink that low but feel it has nowhere to go up in After Hours. It really tanked those last 15 minutes hard.

Made several plays yesterday so in keeping up with transparency, I'll put up the progress report as to how they are doing and how much I will allow for a stop loss so you can see how I do. I know this thread is mostly a day trading penny slamming stock thread so slow conservative traders like myself are probably considered as a waste of time to look at, but for the trades I started yesterday, I will keep a running tally updated not every day, but everyday I make a move or get stopped out. I don't feel right about just saying buy this or sell that because it never lets you know when to get out or buy back on any stock, and also doesn't let you know how much I am willing to lose on each position before I just say I'm fuct with this stock time to cut and run, so below are the positions I started yesterday, how they are doing, my stop price, how much I am willing to lose on each stock, and how many I have.

if you are using stop-loss you are either entering too late or not exiting fast enough. If you are day trading you shouldn’t be in a trade any longer than an hour, really shouldn’t be any longer than 10 mins if you are doing it right.

You guys need to learn technical analysis, buy a scanner or you are just wasting your time. If the goal is swing trading, then you need to be more patient and stop selling for losses.

Bro I put a stop loss on IDEX at 2.50. Should have just sold it at 2.80. I followed most of the guys on Canuck's list and I lost $600 on their picks in 2 days. Need the NBA to get here fast.

curious from the long term traders. lot of shit coming out about twitter guys being paid to pump idex, but all of these big name groups ( black rock, vanguard) have bought in. that wouldnt be from twitter hype those guys do their due diligence. i want to jump back in because of the big guys but im not sure

Buddy I have 100,000 shares of vtgdf. One of initial reasons I invested was black rock and van guard were invested in. Still stuck with my finger up my ass waiting 4 years later.

I don’t know what to make of IDEX. Heard Cramer tonight propping it and other experts seem to believe in it but worried it’s not going to recover. Got me a lot of $$& last week and bought the hype it would go up to $5 so I held and it’s nonetheless been a very red week for me since it hit 3.98 and I took a chance on FSRX which flopped.

Here's my concern with IDEX: It was a perfect stock last week because it went under the radar. This week, all these big wigs see these college kids and teenagers buying the hype and investing in it trying to make a quick penny and are dumping it. I'm not a fan of buying hyped stocks. It's why I bought it a week ago. GNUS was a good example. I think IDEX will be okay after the hype settles, but for the short term, it's going to be an up and down rollercoaster.

You wouldn't. No clue what's going on, best to just get out and take the hit. Even if it climbs, so be it. A lot of these penny stocks are loser companies. I'd rather invest in a legit penny stock with a ton of experts in their field, like a GERN, or something like CLSK.
