Active shooter at Mandalay Bay

ive seen numerous vids, one from a black woman, showing flashes (in unison with the shots ringing out) in the 4-5th floor area... but no window was broken out in that region, and those windows do not open (ie, you can't open them)....

some one said it was just flashes of light from a light post reflecting as the vehicle drove by, but no way that's the case....

hard to believe there'd be any reflections from only one window 28 floors lower from shots being fired from a position inside a room 28 floors higher.... weird shit, no doubt....

Ya, well if no window was busted, and they do not open....Had to have been a light flickering....unless anyone can draw up another explanation...

Not a gunman, that's why it hasn't been coming up.

I just watched it a few times and that is definitely not it.

The flashes are too patterned in succession to be trees. It would be more random if it were from trees.

I could see it being a reflection of something else though. Would be nice to see another video that shows that when there is no shooting going on.

I once burned up one of those removable dash mounted patrol lights that cops use to pull you over when they don't have a light bar -- I'd ripped it off from some dumbass Brazos County Sheriff Deputy's car (he'd left his window down so I just reachred in and snaggerd it) while walking across the campus at a&m on my way back to my dorm after class -- by running too long at a party we were having....

imagine if somebody had one of those runnin' in their room and we could see it.... conspiracy theorists would shit their pants....

I almost mentioned earlier that he was probably on some sort of medications. The obvious 3 are anti-depressants, benzos or opiates.

Who knows if there is any truth to the valium claim but I wouldn't doubt it. If it turns out he was getting prescriptions for benzos or opiates, the war on those drugs will ramp up even harder. If it was Anti-Depressants, everyone will say it probably wasn't the medication and they'll start looking for alt theories

But let an oxy show up in his drug screen and there will be hell to pay for anyone on oxy

Sadly, the most likely med to cause someone to do something this crazy assuming any medication influenced his actions are anti-depressants.

watching that third video I don't get how the room isn't lighting up, obviously big room and he wasn't at the window but still think would see something, also would be nice to have someone figure out the estimated rate of fire from the video.

either way people clearly can tell where it is coming from and are pointing.

It's a weird strobe light or something, certainly doesn't match up with the sounds of gun fire. I'd honestly love for someone from Mandalay Bay to just tell us what the hell it is because it's weird as fukk, but has nothing to do with the shooting as far as I can tell

I'll go with optical illusion since the report of an AR from that distance to the cab would be much louder on the audio. The Luxor has strobe lights going up along the edges of the pyramid so depending on angle that would be my first guess.
