#913Why is everyone talking about multiple shooters? Did you not see what Mrs Clinton said? It's the NRA's fault. They are the REAL shooter here.
JImmy kimmel said the same thing kind of. I like Jimmy K. You all needs to start blaming the NRA for all of this.Comment -

#915It's obviously an NRA conspiracy. Since the election, gun sales have been tanking, there's a surplus of guns, gun/ammo manufacturing is way down with large scale layoffs within the industry expected. With republicans in power, there is no threat that guns or gun rights will be seriously threatened, so there is no sense of urgency to rush out and purchase more guns and ammo. The NRA may back the republican agenda, but democrats in power are better for business. When Obama was elected gun sales soared with many people fearing restrictions, business was booming.
Gun sales have been down across the board and no relief on the foreseeable horizon. If there was no reason to buy more guns and ammo, then one needed to be orchestrated, even if it is extreme. While horrific, a mass shooting would work if handled and planned properly. The NRA knows with republicans in power, there is no threat in serious restrictions, even after such an event, history has already shown them that, the 2nd amendment is powerful. They had to find a patsy, but it couldn't be a minority or Muslim, that actually might lead to more restrictions. They found the perfect patsy, older white male, no religious or political affiliations, loner type, but appears like a normal average person and generally non-threatening. The patsy wasn't alive when the first shots rang into the crowd, he was killed with a suicide blow timed with the bursts. There were probably two operatives involved, dressed in ordinary clothing and could easily slip away during the confusion even with all the cameras on the property. The NRA have to keep a small circle for the conspiracy, maybe a couple well placed govt officials, a couple of law enforcement officials that can help steer the investigation if needed.
There will be public outrage and a call for gun restrictions, 2nd amendment defenders will again rush to buy guns/ammo in fear of coming restrictions and others will think about a gun for protection, after all, that was some ordinary guy and it could happen anytime. The NRA will get plenty of on air time defending the public's right to bear arms. There may be some small localized restrictions, but in the end the 2nd amendment and gun industry will win.Comment -

#917That's all I'm suggesting.... the constant loading of bags... going back to the vehicle.... then back to the room. Then repeating. 3-4 days of preparing. If you had any heart... you'd call it off. So many variables. I just can't see this 64 year old guy doing it. Your heart would have to be racing like a son of a bitch.... you'd be sweating profusely in spurts.
You could sit there and be a lone wolf for 72-96 hours? Not get into any discussion with another person? Keep a straight face while in conversation?

#919He did it literally the last song of the weekend. I wonder if he was going to do it earlier, and backed out the previous two nights and maybe even earlier this night. I wouldn't be surprised if he was drunk as fukk when it all went down. Also, I haven't heard anything more about the lady who was telling everybody they were gonna die 45 minutes before the shooting happened. Is that just lost among everything else?Comment -

It's then up to the media to report, react, spin, ignore or any other number of things that they will do with what happens.
You're right, there is just no need to manufacture an event like this. A bombing, maybe not so much. After all the US did repeal the Propaganda Ban just a few years back. That basically authorized the government to lie to it's citizens.

#942Makes sense and a really good conspiracy theory... BUT who in the NRA would ever sanction such a dastardly, difficult scenario? Do you know how long it would take for someone to squeal? No way this could ever be kept quiet and no one in the NRA would put themselves up to such scrutiny ESPECIALLY when they don't have to do anything. There's already been 250+ mass shootings this year. People are going to do dumb shit with guns every day. They don't need to manufacture mass shootings because we have mass shootings every day. All they need to do is wait.
True there have been a rise in mass killings, but they needed something big, something epic, and more important something where they could control the narrative. Time was also a luxury they did not have, after all, legendary American gun maker Remington just had a second round of layoffs just a couple weeks ago and other gun makers in a similar predicament. The time to act was now.
Any doubts? Check this out from today
Shares of gunmakers jumped more than 3% Monday after a deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas. Gunmaker stocks are rising because of a perception that gun controls could tighten and restrict the availability of weapons, and that gun buying could pick up as Americans look to better protect themselves, says Gary Kaltbaum, president of investment firm Kaltbaum Capital Management.
Gun stocks have historically risen more than the broad stock market in the month after a mass shooting, according to CNBC's Kensho statistical analysis of 32 mass shootings since April 1999. Sturm Ruger shares were up 2.89% on average a month later, and the stock of then-Smith & Wesson was up 5.36%, versus a 1.66% rise for the Standard & poor's 500 stock index.
"Traders believe that people will go out to buy guns for self protection; perhaps those who have been thinking about it but who have been debating the merits of the purchase," says Quincy Krosby, chief market strategist at Prudential Financial.
Fear is a powerful tool.

#943Apparently this is a picture of the guy after he shot himself in the head. It's graphic. I would say that it is definitely legit considering the carpeting matches that of the pics that were released earlier showing all of the guns on the floor.
