Ever see Under on the top line and the Over on the bottom line?

99.9% of the time when placing a bet the Under will be on the bottom and the Over will be on the top but occasionally for whatever reason a book will have the Over on the bottom and the Under on top. I'm sure it's a mistake by the book but it's nearly gotten me into trouble on several occasions. I usually catch it... but not today I didn't. When I got home today I was happy to see that I had nailed an Under prop bet(or so I thought). When I looked at the graded wager it said that I had bet the Over. I'm 99% certain that I clicked the bottom box because the way I have it written down in my notebook corresponds with my wager and the way it was written on the screen.

Moral of the story... before finalizing your wager make sure that the Over and Under are actually in the correct spot.

Don't think I've ever seen this, JG. Always best to be sure though.

I can't believe you guys have never seen this... it must mostly be on Prop bets which is mostly what I play. Next time I see it I will post it in this thread. I'm guessing I will see it again within a few weeks or so.

The example in post #5 is from a Book rated A- by SBR. I've also seen it at A+ rated books. I've seen it at virtually every book that I play at. I will post more examples when I see them. Name a Book that you think this would never happen at and I'll tell you if I've ever seen it happen there.

Example #2 This is from a different book than the previous example. I'm actually pretty surprised that it's been nearly 6 weeks since I've seen it happen again.

I have most definitively seen it happen with the MLB score in first inning prop.
The YES and NO were inverted from where they always are, yes on top and no on bottom.

Chalk side is typically the NO, so you be the judge?

that's why I always check the line properly before betting. Some bookies put the over/under lines top to botton, others left to right. But there are some exceptions where the lines are mixed and you gotta be careful and double check.

Also - Outside of the USA it's commonly posted with Home Team on top, Visitor on bottom.

Seems to be the way some books have their props setup, while it makes sense that Over should be on top and Under on the bottom, it seems that these books have their props setup almost like a futures market - with the odds-on "favourite" being listed above the "underdog" as in every example listed here the Under was the chalk, and was on the top as a result.
