Like this game for several reasons.

I liked this game before the line movement.
Explain to me how the Cardinals opened up as a -179/+169 favorite and now the game is sitting at -146/+136?
With a name brand pitcher like Wainwright against a non-proven former relief pitcher like Finnegan, against an 0 and 4 team on the road in that cathedral that they call Bush?

Hmmm.
Johnny Cardinal fan must be foaming at the mouth to get some juicy Cardinal action as he rushes to the betting window.

We all know about Wainwright, once elite, got hurt tore the Achilles, missed all of last season, started this looking terrible against Pit, than last week against the Braves got hammered and walked the park.

Finnegan was a part of the 2014 world series Royals, then came over last year in the Cuetto deal.
Reds weren't dealing Cueto without Finnegan in the package, that's how valued he is.
Converted reliever, looks like the conversion to starter is smooth (so far)

First two starts this year he had a no hitter through six against the Cubs and last week he shut down the Phils.

14 K's in 12 innings so far this year, former first round pick of the Royals, All American out of TCU, throws left, throws two out of three sliders (66.7%) one of the hardest pitches to hit in the majors in a slider from the left handed pitcher, has good command of it. Mixes in curves and a 4 seam fast ball that tops out at 97 mph.

Drafted him in the 23rd round this year myself, I had him targeted.

I've always been a Verlander fan, but I don't trust him anymore.

Cashner's last start was pretty good, little rocky in spots, but looked pretty good.
Meanwhile Shelby Miller got rocked in this last two, and just looks God Awful.

Not only that, with the loss of Pollock, the dynamics of that Snake line up has changed, you really don't have to pitch to Goldy as often.

Very reasonable line at -112, SD's park is a grave yard, can't see Cash getting taken deep tonight.
