After reading how they discovered Matt,I'm making a more than educated guess that Sweat was in the same area.

So, either Sweat got a huge head start when they urgently fled out the back door of cabin or Sweat was hiding in the vicinity where Matt was killed or Sweat has been on his own being able to travel much further per day than Matt..

Either way, Sweat has 10x the endurance than Matt did
making his ability to elude law enforcement superb when compared to Matt
this makes the manhunt much more difficult and irritating .

Police found shitty underwear in one of the cabins and empty liquor bottles in another..

DNA tests concluded the shit was Matt's
