Shit sometimes just happens right out of the blue. I remember betting on a MLB game (Red Sox v forgot who) under 6 runs in the middle of the game with 0-0 and hardly any hits made. And guess what, the very next inning Boston scores 6 runs. Bloody nuts, I tell you.
However, if we would have bet on the OVER here, that would be a miracle as ridiculous as LAK/NSH last 2 minutes today (I had 11 goals and 7 by NSH both quite unbelievable won).Comment -

The biggest fix i have ever seen was in the ice hockey World championship in 1991, Canada v USA final fours - Canada needed to win by 5 to win the gold (if Sweden fail to beat the mighty Soviets).
With a minute to go and winning just 7-4 Canucks were shorthanded and the Yanks pulled off their goalie, so Canucks scored twice in the empty net and eventually won by 5.
Luckily Swedes beat Soviets 2-1, Mats Sundin scoring the winner late in the 3rd and won the thing. Sundin (not sure, but anyway one of the Sweden leaders) later said that if Swedes would feel they would not be able to win the game they would rather score an own goal and let the Soviets win the gold) rather than let cheating Canadians get away.Last edited by ridersonthestorm; 01-04-15, 12:05 PM.Comment -

An interesting night.....that felt absolutely crazy bad.....but with the safety cover on the over in the Pitt game and the Blues winning the late game, I am actually only down $50 or so for the entire night....I think anyway. Obviously I don't need to add it up anymore, so I will wait for FitGuy to do the honors. Even with a couple of gross losses....it could have been a lot worse.
Also, thanks to BIGDAY, he sent me a text and I hopped on Cowboy Cerrone for $240 at -120 and won $200!Comment -

18 plays on day1, jan03 already, not counting the bruins play you mentioned...
D, it'd be great for you get back into your old habit of posting the shot of your 5d "completed wagers" as soon as all/most of each calendar day's plays are graded...will help me a lot to not have to kill my eyes on checking each game's result on a score site (especially on a monster day like this that i didn't actually play myself)
just post the shot, no need to comment on it if it was one of those -variance "urge to kill" nights...it's just to get all the raw data in one handy place to ease the hand-entry into my excel sheet...
anyhow, till i get my sheet up to speed, go ahead and update in your usual way if you feel appropriate...but at a minimum include the end-of-day's completed play's report from dimey
once i'm on the ball, i'll be able to kick out a nice comprehensive accurate report within a few minutes of seeing that screenshot, saving you the trouble/discomfort of running the official numbers
