    Vegas in January
Never been, don't have any credit at any of the sportsbooks obviously. What do I do? Do I just fill out a marker limit application at the hotel I'm staying and see how much credit they are willing to give me? How does it work past that do i just walk in and give them my name and then they'll have my marker limit on file for when I go?

I guess another question I have is how does the marker limit work... if they give me 5 grand or whatever in credit and then i turn that 5 grand into 10 grand, how do i get that 5 grand i won? or conversely if i lose, is that 5 grand just like a CC bill and I just pay it off?

If you dont have any scratch to begin with then your credit/marker chances are going to be somewhere between slim and zero.

Marker are not ************, they generally want to be paid back as/when you leave.

I have cash, that isn't the problem, i just didn't necessarily want to walk into a casino with 50 100 dollar bills, but i've never been so that type of thing is probably typical

        So just avoid credit altogether?

$5K in vegas is really no big deal. Just go and have a good time pal.

Go to website of where you are staying or will be doing most of your gambling and call them up and ask for the credit dept or casino cage. They will email you a form to fill out and send back. They basically do a credit check and will issue you credit for however much you ask for as long as you have that balance in your bank account. Go to a table or sportsbook and ask for a marker for xxxx amount. They print out a debit slip for you to sign. You get chips to bet. At the end of your trip to go the cage and settle up if you win or write them a check or they will draft it out of your bank account a week or 2 after you check out of hotel or sign for your last marker.

If it simple and easy and worthwhile. Otherwise call your bank and have them increase your daily ATM limit if it isn't very large.
