#394And this is why LA Angels is my play of the day
Can you haters, (you know who you are, I know who you are, some of you even make ghost accounts to come at me, it's flattering, but trust me, there are more important things to do in life) at least wait until I go on a cooler before jumping ugly on me please. I understand some of you are not that enamored with CJ Wilson, I get thatm, I always liked the kid, and am expecting a complete rebound from his last start.
Not going to sugar coat this, he stunk, got hit hard in that loss to the M's.
Houston and Cosart are in a bad spot today I believe, Houston is not a good LHP hitting team for starters, and with the exception of Matty D and Altuve, who just very well be the shortest clean up hitter in the history of the game, the line up is pretty weak, Chris Carter has pop though.
I like Houston's farm system, they should be relevant in 2-3 years, but I don't think CJ Wilson woke up in a cold sweat this morning fearing this

Astros start promising right hander, 23 year old Jarred Cosart.
Shut down the Yankees his first start, went five innings, no earned runs, for a few innings there was dealing.
Different situation today, tougher line up, and this start is on the road.
Expecting Trout, the best player in the game, to tee off, Pujols is swinging the bat a lot better, hell, I really think the Angels go off on the kid.

#404GL Nasher, I'm on Astros FF and the OVer FF.
I think you might need to check on Astros not hitting lefties well. They hit against lefties better then righties, not a big difference between it, but ever so slightly. GL today though even though we are on opposite sides today.Comment -

He's got a great eye dead red, 13 percent swing and miss rate out of the zone, and zero percent whiff/swing strilking out.
He's just as good with breaking pitches, very patient.
Can't handle the offspeed stuff, and that is the book on how you are supposed to get him out, you throw him cheese though, he'll hurt you.
If an idiot like me knows this, you would think scouts do to, since I access the same databases scouts do.
p.s. glad I talked myself off of Cingrani, looks like he might get croaked in the first inning here.Comment -

#417Interesting prop bets in the KC Royal game
Both teams feast off of LHP
Normally I play KC against most LHP, this one is a no play, over 8 (+100 reduced juice) is a consideration
Inclined to play Myers over Gordon
but
Inclinded to play Butler over Myers
Gordon has trouble versus Moore, Aoki hits LHP well too.
Longoria is terrific versus LHP, this is a fun game for a numbers geek guy
