ya, he can play...but your right...he has that marshmellow head syndrome....Gonna be tough for the Sabres to make the Playoffs..I think Pittsburgh 'n Florida are the 2 teams that will get in. Carolina and my Sabres will be on the outside lookn in...

I thought the Sabres were a lock before those injuries, though break. But it helped my Pens so I can't say I am that upset.

Although I wouldn't be shocked to see the Rangers fall out, and the Sabres make it in front of them.

element I see your from Pitt. I was there in Nov. Went to Sabres Pens game. We get there alot for baseball games..Great town, great people..Very smart fans when it comes to their teams..Great bar across from PNC park.."Sneakers" I think it is called...

PNC Park is a great place to watch baseball.

I was in Buffalo for the Winter Classic last year, had a great time up there. Buffalo fans are definitely passionate about their teams. Go up to the Buffalo/Niagara area a lot, very nice up there.

I honestly think the asking price will be Staal+, which will likely dissuade Pittsburgh from pulling the trigger.

I thought a deal like this would be fair for both teams.

Pens get: Frolov and Derek Armstrong.

Kings get: Staal and Kennedy.

Your thoughts??

It'll cost the Pens more than that. We already have enough depth forwards with all of the young talent on this team, and that is BEFORE free agency.

Unless Lombardi has very good reason to believe Frolov will not resign with the Kings next year, it is going to take an overpay to get him, and I don't think this is an overpay.

Don't get me wrong either, taking Staal's potential and contract stataus into account, I'm not saying your offer isn't a fair one. I just know how Dean Lombardi works, and he will not part with one of his "core players" unless the deal is too sweet to pass up on (aka, Pittsburgh overpaying)

Think along the lines of Staal, Tangradi, and a 3rd for Frolov, Boyle, and a 4th (purely random speculation mind you
