+1.5 ev is just brutal odds on a team catching +350 at places. Are they that much more likely to lose by exactly 1 goal? Any other outcome and you were wrong. I can see peppering a couple bucks on a long shot here. If +1.5 wins then I was wrong but the value isn't there in this case IMO.

I never bet +1.5 in hockey, if sabres manage to keep it close there is still an empty net possibility.

highly doubt it no one is stupid enough to lay -415 in the NHL. I would think more people probably took the +1.5 at plus money with Buffalo than SJ ML. Not too often you get a +1.5 at plus money.
