The only way this hits the mat is if Cormier puts it there.. Mirs wrestling is pitiful, and even if it was 'really good,' that's not good enough to put an Olympic level wrestler on his back.

Besides the fights Mir got absolutely owned in, yeah he is the best person Mir ever had to fight. Besides perhaps Nog, but Nog is 600 years old and was way past his expiration date by the time he joined the UFC.

Depends on a couple factors, as stated earlier in this thread Cormier could, literally, slip on a banana peel, which would put him off balance. Problem with that is I'm pretty sure they have people who check the cages for banana peels, but if they suck at their job as much as the judges do, they may actually overlook this. I cap this at about -3700, but its still possible.

Also, remember that event about a month back when one of the corners accidentally spilled some ice water in the cage? That might happen again.

Never said with ease... You can't count mir out when he's arguably one of the best heavyweight jiu jitzu fighters.

cormier for the win, this is a fairly easy pick...DC has walked through everybody so far including josh Barnett who, IMO, is way better than frank mir...Only thing I will say though is that mir looked really good at the weigh ins and the size difference looks a little scary.

Mir fuked up after he fought Lesner, he should of stayed smaller but put on to much mussle, against the top guys I reckon his only chance of winning is if his opponent makes a mistake and gives him a limb to break. DC beat Barnett pretty easy I see this one going the same, I think DC on points is decent odds, UD if you can get it.

I think Mir can win - but only by accident. I see Cormier knocking Mir down more than once in this fight. Mir was virtually out on his feet against Nogueira but still managed to win seconds later. He will have to do something similar again, or he will lose pretty badly. I don't think he can get that lucky twice in as many fights. Cormier by (T)KO is the most likely outcome.
