Well, given the opinions in this thread, I'd say NE isn't exactly the neglected side. Plenty of people on here willing to bet on a team that has a coaching advantage, home field advantage and disadvantages everywhere else. They do have history, also... If those are the angles you like, go with 'em. Numbers and football common sense seem to suggest that the Jets are a GREAT play at +3.5. And when someone makes a comment like "Well, he's just a Linebacker" regarding Adalius Thomas, I mean... Really? He's the leader of that entire defense, no? And yet he's completely replaceable? Explain.

richard seymour and bruschi have been huge parts of that defense since i can remember, they only got thomas 2 years ago, not saying it wont hurt, i just dont see that one player making their defense go from decent at the very least, to swiss cheese. Also you have to consider pierre woods and how hes going to play, never really seen him but the pats have a history of having talented capable backups. Also in my mind, superior coaching can negate certain mismatches, and i think bellicheck is a far superior coach, especially when everybody on the field are great athletes.Comment -
