ok NFL fans.. One of our favorite days is here, but PLEASE exercise the same discipline we have all season.

20* UNDER 49ers/Giants
5* Under Patriots/Ravens

and here are prop bets I like and will play for a MAXIMUM 3* amount.

3* amount that SF will score the first touchdown laying -150.
3* ‘over’ 5 -110 total sacks by both teams
3* that Frank Gore will have the most rushing yards of four running backs (Rice, Bradshaw, Jacobs, and himself) at +130
3* Vernon Davis at 10-1 odds will have the most receiving yards of (Nicks, Welker, Gronkoski, Cruz, Hernandez, Boldin, Crabtree, Torrey Smith, Mano Manningham)
3* Bradshaw at -100 will have less than 47 ½ rushing yards.
3* Frank Gore laying -130 will have more than 75 ½ rushing yards
3* Vernon Davis laying -130 will have more than 60 ½ receiving yards.

As always feel free to discuss these. I have a history fo doing VERY well with these prop best are border line silly bad. So, treat them for what they are - proposition bets. Have fun with them and I certainly want to here about them.

If you tailed all of his plays you will be at best up a few units. Which I beleive is somewhat impressive given the NFL is pretty much uncappable IMO. However, John's record keeping has been misleading a few times this year so take it with a grain of salt if/when he does present it.

I was leaning the under myself, but saw it move down from 42 to 40.5 today and so far I haven't pulled the trigger on it. I'm still thinking about it because I'm not sure if it's still worth it or not.
What do you think?


I also like the 49ers to pull it off at home. Green Bay pretty much handed the Giants the game last week with all those turnovers and dropped passes. I think the 49ers are a much improved team and at home with a full house will want to perform.

I think you can get 41 -110 at the majority of places. BoDog has 42 -115... 40 1/2 sounds like a local number.. try and get the 41 level, but if you can't just bet the best possible available

The fact that Brady has been off his 'A' game in the first half was a big reason why they chose to run out the clock. Plus, they are winninfg 13-10. However, Ravens could have used their two timeouts and force them to punt. missed opportunity perhaps. Patriots are winning despite Brady missing guys and being a bit inconsistent and even hesitant on some reads. That's a tribute too to the Ravens defense and the different looks they are showing. I just don't see an second half opportunity. Patriots 3 1/2 and a total of 24 1/2 for the second half just doesn't point to a solid bet in my opinion.

We already have a 5* UNDER in hand and an upcoming 20* UNDER 49ers/Giants. so, let's enjoy the second half and see if the Patriots can hang on. I think they will win the game. Again, if they win the second half ATS by four or more points is just something I can't get a handle on based on the first half went.

well, so far so good. 17 points is ok.. the spread is pick and I like the 49ers to win the second half and ultimately the game.

20* UNDER play is enough risk. I like the 'under' the for the second half, but don't like adding more risk to that already big play. If you are someone, who has not played the '2-* under than taking a 5* amount and play 'under' 20 points is a solid opportunity for the second half

Yeah, no kidding! I really did not want to see the Patriots go to the Super Bowl again.Suggs reaction was classic, "Oh my God!" after the missed field goal. I would have loved to see how the overtime played out if Cundiff made that field goal. Great game overall though, really enjoyed watching it.
